Pineapple Malibu (I took a sip, they fill their drinks to the brim!)

Walked in here on a whim after going to Creepy's (it's within walking distance). The place is small, but there is outdoor seating and a clean bathroom. We owners bar hopping so we each had a drink and a shot, good prices, nice bartenders, even the people at the bar were talkative and kind. I wouldn't recommend the spot of a large gathering, it's small, but otherwise it's a nice place to grab a drink and chat with a small group.

Lovely bartenders and very chill vibe. If you're coming in casual or dressed up, nobody cares either way. Also super fun vending machine with mystery gifts!

Went to Portland on a 12 hour day trip, stumbled upon the slammer, best dive bar experience I've had in a minute! Ask for Julie she will take care of you and make you feel as if you were a local. Get a PBR, a salty nacho & do some ski ball. Atmosphere is what you would expect from your typical dive, but it really is chill going & good camaraderie of Portlands people. It's a true dive bar experience! Check out the black-and-white photo booth, the mystery, ART vending machine, and the outside Sunset view seating. Coming back just to visit Julie! Thank you

Terrible bartenders who turn off the music that you've paid to play. I would not recommend going here.

Its a dive bar so not too much to expect from ambiance plenty of seating n quirky decor. The place had a Halloween theme going and plenty of people in costumes which was fun to witness. You can order the food and drinks at the bar and then grab a seat. Everything is fast and no fuss . Drinks are cheap ,food is greasy and good times are a guarantee

The vibe is dive bar meets eclectic randomness, with weird things all around that somehow just work. They serve RC pop, which I loved. It's a subtle nod to how long they've been around and the fact that they're not chasing trends. The bartenders were fantastic. Attentive and personable, and they actually know what they're doing. They properly shake a martini, come to your table to grab empty glasses, and wipe down surfaces without making a production out of it. It's relaxed, but they clearly care. You can sit back and enjoy your own company or belly up and end up in conversation learning the history of the place. A little weird, totally unpretentious, and absolutely somewhere I'd go back to.

Wasn't sure what to expect when coming here, but it is actually a really chill spot…read more It's been in business since 1902 and has a lot of cool stuff inside. Even an older style photo booth. They have a great selection of beer and cocktails. The bartenders are cool. We came back another time during the week and were welcomed back. The food menu could use a little work as it is pretty basic--but has enough choices of your average bar food. We would definitely return!

The most un-Portland bar in Portland. I'd label it a faux dive bar. Sure, it looks great with all…read morethe neon glow from the street, but other than that, not much else to find joy in here. Like plethora of others in the reviews have mentioned, you are met with security that's far from friendly. My wife and I were greeted by security who held up his hand like he was holding an invisible business card. "ID" is all he said. Sure, no worries, we are in our forties. Hand it over. He then proceeds to ask us about marijuana products on our person..... WAIT, WHAT? This is the Pacific Northwest, my guy. I've seen legit bongs on curbside picnic tables at other bars (Thunderbird on Foster). But this guy wants to peruse your bags trying to find weed. I lied to this securi-nerd, and waltz'd past him. I'm a grown adult, my legal toking is none of your business. Took awhile to get two basic beers. We were met with smiles by staff, but they didn't ask us if we wanted a drink or menu. Finally someone came over and took our drink order. This was a one and done place for us. It has this fake feeling of a PACNW dive bar. It didn't feel legit. It felt put on. Noticed a large table of locals wearing "OREGUNIAN" sweatshirts, and the vibe at this place is just way off. I felt like I was on the East coast--not the West coast. Again, who asks patrons if thy have weed on them with zero explanation? Every single music venue I've been to in Portland could not give less of a crap about your weed vape, so why does this pretend dive bar? What a weird, un-Portland like vibe. The ick is real.

You ever have one of those days when somebody comes up to you and plops a big ole tit of a chicken…read morein front of you and you just tear into the thing and realize you'll never eat anything else in your life? That is, until you turn your attention to the wedge of a jojo next to that beautiful wet-tshirt-contest winner. And by wedge, I mean you could park a god damned RV on the bank-iest bank of the Willamette, put one of these under a rear wheel, throw the RV in neutral, and open a trampoline park inside. If you canceled the lease on Playdate PDX and are reading this, don't steal my idea, you prick. Anyway, I digress. Potato jojo wedge. Back to it. I brought home some as leftovers three months ago and my eight year old is still tunneling through them like she's a mole dropped into some f-ed version of Candy Land. Look, I know the fine bartenders here promise chicken and jojos the same way cable promises service: it'll arrive somewhere between the hours of 6 and 10:00 PM. But sit your ass in the chair, get a PBR and wait. Because, much like the bygone era of cable, when the boob shows up uncensored, late at night, and wrapped seductively in paper and BBQ sauce (don't judge me! You tuned in too!), you weren't thinking of the guy with the extra long butt crack and ill fitting button up. Oh no, my friend, you were thinking about the sauce. BBQ, ranch, sweet chili, . . . or ketchup (you immature shit).

My friends were at the bar and I managed to get a seat next to them. I was smart to ask my friend to place a food order since they are known for hot fried food to take their time. I ordered a drink and caught up with my friends. There were complimentary treats which I gladly enjoyed. Once my food arrived, I enjoyed the jo jo's with buffalo dipping sauce as my go to. The fried chicken hits the spot and the staff is very friendly. It was great seeing 2 people working instead of just 1 person doing everything. My order was affordable too once I closed my tab. Old Portland for the win once again and will continue to support, cheers!
