Bogus company. They don't communicate well. They cut corners. They failed to give me a drug test, and even when I asked for it (so later no one can say anything) they did it poorly. They aren't specific about what kind of equipment you need, and you don't find out until the day you arrive. They text you and it's from like 5 different numbers and hardly any reply. They have some of the shadiest hires I have ever seen. They purposely put you in hostile work environments with freakshow employee and then don't advocate for you when they say the would. These people are the most incompetent staffing agency I have ever worked with. They have no sense of professionalism and would not see it in a person if and when you walk through their doors. They will place you in a position that serves their needs and not yours. They will not ask about your skills or test you beyond their needs. The office manager Marina has no idea how to be a people person which is needed in a Staffing agency. It seems that they only Drug Test blacks and latinos, and if you don't fit into their pigeon hole they won't place you in a office situation but only into a warehouse. So i called today to see about a job and they told me my account was terminated because "i was upset about not getting a job" which was not the case at all.. It's very loud in there because the phones are constantly ringing, which is good. But while filling out paperwork it's distracting. Also this is for Staffmark in general not just this location. THEY NEED TO PUT IN THEIR EMAILS "WHEB COMING TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK PLEASE BRING 2 FORMS OF ID OR A PASSPORT." I only worked for this company a few times and the warehouse they put me in was like grown adults in middle school. Labor work involving loading/unloading large, heavy boxes and these females were dressing as though we are at a nightclub! I've never witnessed such immaturity at a warehouse either..alot of gossiping, jealousy, bullying and favoritism as well. Staff mark does not even pay anything compared to their competitors. I called often for something else and I literally heard one of the people in office saying they "feel like blocking" me and always gave me attitude on phone and brushed me off. They are constantly sending numerous texts and e-mails about jobs and I call the second I get them and they say there are no jobs. I tried unsubscribing and replying "STOP" to texts but keep receiving them so I called today to ask if they can stop sending me these notifications and the female gave me a very bold attitude and was very defensive before I could even finish my sentence! Wow Staffmark! Definitely not a good look and why do you have to employ such miserable people? Staff and employees actually working at these locations are the definition of the phrase "Birds of a feather.." I've never worked with a more unprofessional company. The rep asked me what type of work I wanted. I clearly stated 'clerical/data entry' where she then sent me to a warehouse position in buisness attire. When I tried to get a hold of the company in regards to the mishap they kept giving me the reach around. I talked to every rep almost, except mine and none of them could help me. Once I got ahold of someone who could he said to call him back and he'd help me better since he was going to talk to the company. I called before 4 and they said he had left for the day. Now I am stuck looking for my rep being told she's still not there. After finally getting ahold of her all she could say was sorry. Then upon meeting her stated it was a 50:50 job it could of been warehouse or office. So this agency doesn't go and see what exactly there client is doing they just need a position filled and send whoever. I worked that one day. Now I had signed up for a skylit card which they have failed to give me the 2 times I was there. Now when I managed to call and ask how they planned on paying me they said they didn't have my time card or couldn't find it that they'd 'call me back' . Worst company ever. Extremely stressful, doesn't care about their clients, or the jobs they're being sent too, and now loses time cards. If I could of rated something less than 0 I would have. If I could give less than one star, I would. I've worked with various staffing companies in the past but this has to be the WORST experience I've ever had with one. I applied for a Customer Service/Data Entry position with them and was contacted the same day via email to come in for an interview. I was excited with the fast response. I get there and the first thing I notice is I'm very overdressed compared to everyone else (dressed in casual clothes). I stand at the front and no one even acknowledges me, so I sit down. 20 minutes go by and I finally walk up to someone for help. She asks me if I've already "applied online" and I say yes, not knowing that the application for their agency is online, since most have you do the paperwork in their office. After she finds out I haven't, she has me start filling out the application (on my phone because all of the computers are full and no one is monitoring if people are done or need help). 25 min later, a computer finally frees up. I finish up the app and try to login with my information but can't, so I go back to the lobby. At this point, there's at least 8 people in the lobby and 5 in the computer room. I find someone who's free and ask for help and she cuts me off multiple times saying, "I'll get to you when it's your turn." Thank God I received a phone call from an ACTUAL staffing company 3 minutes later. I got my stuff and walked the hell out. I've never done that with any establishment. Literally the most unprofessional environment I've ever been in. Unorganized and dreary. All of the recruiters are rude and nasty. Listening to the way they talked to potential workers was horrible. And they're liars. I was there for the Customer Service/Data Entry position but heard someone say "We're only offering order entry positions. It's all we have", which had a completely different work schedule and pay than what was advertised. Save yourself an hour (would've been more if I didn't walk out).
