I still do not understand how a store can force people to buy other items to build up enough points to buy specific bourbon bottles. That whole system just feels illegal but I guess it must be popular in Kentucky. Making people buy $500 worth of other items just to have the opportunity to buy a bottle of Weller special reserve is such a rip off. Might as well buy things off the secondary market because it would be cheaper than spending money at this store. read more

Tons is rare liquor but you're not allowed to buy it. This location looks to be part of the Uncorked owners because it has the same ridiculous rewards program to buy a bottle of liquor. Go to Ohio, Krogers does their allocation every Saturday. read more

Stadium Liquor is good and reasonably priced liquor store with a decent selection of store picks. I have found better prices on certain items here than elsewhere, and they will put items on sale throughout the year. The staff has always been very friendly and willing to help find anything or check the back for additional supply. For the more highly allocated bottles they have a free rewards program, which is nice to reward loyal customers with the more sought after bottles at MSRP. They will occasionally offer some harder to find bottles for no points for rewards members. The downside of the rewards program is that points expire after 6 months, and the majority of the harder to find allocated bottles require more than 1500 points. It would be better if the points didn't expire for 12 months, or if the number of points required for some of the bottles were lowered to a little more reasonable range. read more

I recommend Stadium liquor to all my family and friends for their liquor store needs. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. And for the Bourbon fans, the member selection is the best in the city, although I wish the points would be available longer than just six months. Just across the bridge from downtown Cincinnati it is easily reachable to all in the tristate area. read more

Stadium has an awesome selection and great people working there. The store looks small from the outside, but that is deceiving. The place is gigantic compared to what you'd expect. Great people, great products, and every greater prices. They made an $11 pricing error on a bottle and instead of just lowering the price, contacted everyone who bought one and gave them a refund for the difference! These are great, honest people! Stadium Liquor has instituted a point system for anything allocated. You have to spend $500 to even be "allowed" to purchase 1 bottle of Blantons. HAHAHAHA OH, and for those that think they'll save points for a while. They expire in 60 days. Enjoy spending 4,000 for the chance to maybe buy a bottle of Pappy. I'm SUUURE there's no markup on it either. What a joke. read more

We stopped in on our way through town. Pretty nice selection, decently priced products. BUT! They do have a point system for the bourbon thst people want ensuring the regulars get it all. I asked the worker how it worked ( black girl with very long nails) said nothing, let out a huge exhale in frustration ( I guess found her job was an issue) and walked away. An older white lady explained the points system to me with a huge attitude. If you're not local stay away , it's not worth the disrespect to go there in hope of "scoring" a rare bourbon. read more

I first visited this place in August of 2018. At that time I was able to score an affordable orphan barrel bottle and a wild Turkey bday bottle. I felt like I had won the lottery. I returned this year in the hope of scoring again and I was not disappointed. I left with a bottle of Blantons that was only slightly over average market price but totally worth it since its impossible to get in Ohio for an average person. I was also able to pick up Angel Envys rye which I can never find in Ohio. It was about what I had expected it to be in price. They had a counter that had a 1 bottle per customer limit which I think is smart and reasonable. What is not smart is that I did not return the next day to get a second bottle of Blantons. But behind the counter is their rewards program bottles which are what you really want. I went in expecting to spend like $500 on bottles but was unable to as I am not part of the rewards program and could not purchase the super special bottles. If I lived closer I would totally be into this but from 5 hours away, I will just have to live without them or drive a few more hours south to get them at people who dont care about their regulars. I admire the way they take care of their regulars and provide them access to cool and rare bottles! I am of course a little bummed that I couldnt bring the moby dick of whiskeys home but coming home with some wanted bottles I'm still satisfied. read more

My go-to, all-time favorite destination for booze. Yes I make the brief journey across the bridge to this place even though there is a liquor store down the street from my place. The reason is at Stadium you don't have to bob around trying to look behind the counter for most of what you want. Everything is well organized, easily displayed, and accessible. The staff is actually very friendly and will make great suggestions to help you find what you are looking for. They also have some of the best prices, great sales on stuff you actually want to drink, and occasionally you can find a gem on the clearance shelves. read more

It's a dump. Bad neighborhood. Bad service with attitudes. Went there because of their bourbon selection. But you have to be a member and have a ton of points (spend a lot of money on the crappy stuff to have the right to buy the good stuff). Either you want to sell the inventory or not. read more

Was standing in line when the cashier was in line entertaining other customers. I didn't even know she worked there... Until another customer handed her liquor and she took it to her register to cash the customer out even though she saw me waiting patiently to cash out. I put my liquor up and left. Its OK if you prefer certain race of customer.... I will take my business to a liquor store that wants to serve me and have me spend my money at their business... There are plenty in the area. My father and I started our bourbon tour here. On a recommendation from a friend this was the place to check out. We were able to met Allen. Discussing certain styles we liked, Allen put together a sample of some fine juices that I would have probably walked by not even noticing. We were able to taste test a few bourbons prior to buying so taking the fear away of spending money and not liking the bottle at all.
