Great new spot! The atmosphere has a really fun retro diner vibe. I got the OG Stacks this time which was too salty for my liking. My server was attentive, never letting my water glass go empty, and the food came out fast. I really hope more people support this location because it has the potential to become one of my regular stops. Definitely worth checking out!

We showed up an hour before close and it was packed! Service was quick and our server was checking on us constantly to make sure we didn't need anything else. With how busy it was the bar chose to stay open another hour which no one was complaining about it! This place was really fun to hang out with (even though the music can get loud) so we'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Aloha, Tiki Tuesday! What a fun way to spend a Tuesday evening! The tropical cocktails helped us…read morefeel as though we were transported to the islands. They were not only beautifully crafted but absolutely delicious--each sip had us dreaming of swaying palm trees, ocean breezes, and a Hawaiian getaway. We loved both the Mai Tais and the Beachy Bookkeeper! We decided to share a few appetizers. The Meatballs al Forno was my favorite...packed with flavor and perfect for enjoying with friends over drinks. The Heirloom Tomato Burrata was okay however, the tomatoes didn't seem ripe and were hard and chewy. The Lobster in a Jar was tasty - on the pricey side if you ask me though... One of my favorite things about this spot is the ambiance. The lighting is low (and by low I am flat out dark where you almost can't see your hand in front of your face), creating a dark, cozy, and intimate atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a date night, or simply looking for a place to escape for a few hours, the vibe here is spot on. The service was fantastic as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which only added to the experience. Tiki Tuesday has officially become one of my favorite weekly traditions. Great drinks, delicious appetizers, wonderful service, and a cozy atmosphere--what more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back next Tuesday for another little island escape. We got our drinks as we were almost finished with appetizers. Drinks are overpriced. Here's a picture of a $20 old-fashioned before I had a sip. Special menu vary by season. The hostess set such a welcoming tone and the waiter understood the menu and what to suggest. What did I try? Empanadas with the green sauce were tasty. I'm a sucker for a salad with candied pecans. The harvest salad had goat cheese, pickled red onions, sliced fruit and whispered, summer nights. Up next, lamb lolipops on a bed of couscous, cilantro, basil, red onion and had this lime juice twist that paired well with the meat. The portions are on the smaller side. Ain't going to lie, I was lowkey wanting to head within the visinity afterwards because I was still hungry. That's what I get for splitting the portions! The menu is eclectic complete with girl's night out charcuterie option! The bottom level seating between sectioned bar and tables has no distinction. If casual cozy is what you want, then dine here. The jazz band was a blend of neosoul meets old school jams. If you knew, you knew. I felt sexy, cool, calm and collected. Not bad for a Wednesday night!

Food: the food was good, however the service was another matter…read more My wife and I arrived at approximately 6:30 on Friday 7/24. I say approximately because we live about a 10 minute drive and we left our home about 6:20, but I digress. Upon our arrival we were seated and provided with water and menus. The business was not that crowded at this time and several tables had already been served or had their respective drinks. At 6:40 when we had no additional contact with the wait staff that seated us or any other staff. There were two bartenders and to table wait staff. The bartenders were making drinks while the wait staff appeared to be behind the counter and occasionally seating newer customers. At 6:40 my wife was ready to leave, I told her I would give them to 7:00, at 6:59 our waitress came back to our table, the first time since she sat us. She took our drink order as well as our dinner order. At approximately 7:05 I saw the bartender making our drinks and place them at the end of the bar. During this time I believe that our wait staff was preparing one of our food items while the second wait staff was serving some customers in her are or taking orders. At 7:12 I went to the end of the bar to get our drinks but there was no glass for the wine as the bartender poured it out in a small carafe. So I left them at the bar. Mat 7:15 our waitress came staff got a wind glass and poured the carafe of wine into the glass at the bar and then brought the drinks to us. Approximately 7:25 our meals arrived. Again, the food was good.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

Happy Hour Value This review is based on my happy hour…read moreexperiences, and the value is hard to beat. Highlights include: * $10 double cheeseburger with a pickle * $3 East Coast oysters * Half-price drinks, including martinis and wine by the glass Overall, it is an excellent value for a really nice place. Atmosphere and Service The atmosphere and service are impeccable. After more than one visit, the bartenders may recognize you--or at least remember your beverage choices. The Bar Show The best part is the show. The people-watching at the bar is unlike anything else. Happy hour starts at 3:00, but the bar seats are usually full by 2:45. Latecomers often walk in, circle the bar, and leave when they realize there are no seats available. Many guests settle in for the full three hours, which creates its own entertainment. Then come the "watchers," each with a strategy for claiming a seat: * Look for someone nearing the end of a drink. * Watch for guests paying their bill. * Hover nearby, hoping a seat opens up. * Ask someone for a heads-up when they are about to leave. It is surprisingly entertaining, and the occasional bit of staff drama only makes it even better. Bottom Line Either way, it is a great deal for dinner, drinks, and a show, all with amazing service. Show up early--or come prepared with your own strategy.

We ordered the crispy rice tuna and the dinamite shrimp. Both were delicious but small, specially the dinamite shrimp served in a BIG bed of greens. The crispy rice tuna was good. The presentation was nice. My daughter ordered the stone fruit martini and she loved it. I ordered a glass or Sauvignon blanc and it was also good. The ambiance was nice and upscale. The food was disappointing for the price. I ordered the salmon, and the presentation was poor. It looked like something I would have cooked at home. Just a piece of salmon and a side of broccoli; nothing fancy or original about this dish. I'm sharing a picture of a salmon dish we had a a restaurant in Estes Park, Colorado for the same price. Maybe they will learn a decent presentation for a $30 dollar dish. I'm sure the food cost in CO is not higher than DFW. Do better. The steak frites was the most disappointing dish of all; $50 dollars for a small piece of steak, side of spinach and small side of fries. The chicken parm was just ok. The pickle in the hamburger overtook the flavor. Order with no pickles if you're not a fan. The side of fries for the hamburger, which have to be ordered separately, were cold and just ok; nothing special. Overall, we were NOT impressed. Maybe I'll consider going back for happy hour for appetizers and drinks, but probably not.
