Stack Creamery catered the desserts for a wedding I attended recently, and it was the best wedding dessert I've ever enjoyed! Such fun options, and everything was so fresh and yummy. I loved the Cookie Monster ice cream with two chocolate chip cookies. Such a fun catering idea, and the guys serving everyone were so kind despite working a late-night Friday event!!

The ice cream literally fell right out the moment I took a bite. It turned into two cookies with some ice cream smear. The cookies and the ice cream are both normal on their own. Without the novelty of the ice cream sandwich concept it is absolutely not worth $8.

I like this place! I hit a brownie ice cream sandwich with mint chocolate chip ice cream inside. It's best eaten quickly, because the icee cream will harden the brownie fast. If you order it delivery, they will send the ice cream deconstructed so you can warm the brownie up before you put it together. I think that was a nice tough. When I ordered it delivery, I ordered half brownie, half snickerdoodle cookie. I liked the snickerdoodle cookie even more than the brownie. I also ordered it with caramel sauce. The place has a lot of options and it seems like they all taste good. You can also get half price "day old" cookies... they aren't as fresh, but I like the idea of less waste! Kudos for that.

Who doesn't love ice cream in the middle of winter?! I know I do. Cute little store. There's a small counter to eat at by the window, but not a ton of other space to linger inside. You start with an assortment of cookies (one for the base and one of the top). I went with a brownie on the bottom which was soft and delicious. The peanut butter cookie was my top cookie and was a bit crunchier than I typically like; however, it probably helps to hold the sandwich together once the ice cream is added. Sampled the vegan PBJ and went with that as my ice cream - flavor is heavy on the PB and a tiny bit of J. The graham cracker crumbs were a great topping. Overall this a great desert. Something different and able to be customized. Some of the flavors overpower the others, but it's fun to mix and match. Would make for a fantastic treat when the sun is out and you can sit in the parks nearby.

Sweet addition to Jersey City just in time for summer around the corner! This is the second Stack Creamery shop so everything was in place and ready to stack. Mohammed, 1 of the 3 sibling owners, greeted me with a big masked smile and just as excited to make my sandwich as I was to eat the sandwich. He gave me a breakdown of the very clear procedure of what's involved in ordering my specific sandwich. I went with a chocolate chip cookie top, dulce de leche ice cream middle, death by chocolate cookie bottom and brownie bites for topping. With so many selections of cookies, ice cream and toppings, everyone will surely find something they will enjoy. Mohammed told me they also have donuts to make a donut ice cream sandwich! My selection was perfect. My Chocolate Chip Cookie was fantastically chewy with little chunks of milk chocolate. The Dulce De Leche was creamy and flavorful without being too sweet. Death by Chocolate Cookie did not scare me. I nibbled, bit and enjoyed every single bite of that moist ice cream dripped deliciously decadent cookie. The Brownie topping was still fresh with softness mixed with some pieces of the slightly crunchy top of the baked brownie. I will definitely return to try some other combos, maybe with a donut!

Gone down hill. Both female employees were rude today. Rolling their eyes and inpatient because my family was deciding on what flavors they wanted. Inconsistent scoop sizes per customer. The cookie sandwiches used to to be sooo large. I'm even looking back at other customer Yelp pictures in comparison to what I got today. And a guy just before I ordered got 4 huge scoops on his ice cream sandwich vs her originally putting two tiny scoops on mine. Asked her to add more and that was greeted with an attitude. Ice cream still taste good but the selection has downsided greatly. No longer have the sorbet flavors to accommodate people with food allergies only the vegan flavors.

Finally indulged after walking by a few times, and have no regrets! I got an ice cream sandwich, with a double chocolate chip cookie on one side, cookies & cream cookie on the other side, and filled with salted caramel pretzel ice cream. I love how you can customize everything, and the portion is generous enough to that two people can easily share - I actually asked them to cut the sandwich in half for me, which made it super easy. The ice cream and cookies were all very good. Not the best ever, but quality and fresh, and when put together, a great dessert. I will definitely go back!

Loved the Mudlside Ice cream on 2 chocolate chip cookies just what I needed! Staff was friendly and the place is very clean!

Yum-azing cookie sandwiches! They have some really innovative flavors in both cookies and ice cream and the combo is absolutely heavenly!!! Service with a smile! A lovely storefront, beautiful display counter and the cookies are served right out of the baking racks - they're that fresh. Highly recommend for a sweet fix!

I've been disappointed with the service the last few times I came here. I decided to give it another shot and ordered a custom cookie cake for my husbands birthday several days in advance and was assured it wouldn't be problem. Not only did it almost not get made in time it also looks like a child wrote on the cake. For a $65 cake you'd expect better. Only after I asked if the writing could be fixed did he offer to take off the additional charge for the writing.

This place is for cheat meal days only!! I've seen a few posts about this place so I needed to check it out. It sits nestled on central Ave in JCheights and it's easy to miss. It's a small shop so be prepared to take your order To go. I am of lover of icecream sandwiches and this is really the best way to do it. They allow you to build your own ice cream sandwich. You can choose your base and one of the choices is a glazed donut! I chose a chocolate chip cookie and a birthday cake cookie. They have a wide variety of ice creams to choose from for your middle. I chose a coffee ice cream. Then you choose whatever toppings that you want. I kept it classic with some rainbow Jimmies (yes I call them jimmies). Voila! I had the perfect ice cream sandwich. The sandwich is huge so you can absolutely split it with someone. It's so big I couldn't pick it up and eat it like a sandwich. I had to use a spoon. The cookies were fresh and the ice cream was sooo good. Bottom line, don't come here unless you have a sweet tooth and I recommend splitting a sandwich if you can agree on flavors. Definitely worth the trip.

I have to be honest, I've encountered some mediocre, over-hyped ice cream joints, ok? It always leaves me kinda sad, honestly, which is the complete opposite affect that ice cream is supposed to have on humans. I mean....we all scream....right? Or at least we're supposed to. Well, I did for Stack Creamery, thankfully :-). So, my friend lives near here. We'd walk by "this new ice cream spot" all the time until she finally tried it, and it became the ice cream spot that I needed to try. She spoke highly of it, and recommended that I go. I was leaving her place one night and it was legit RAINING, yes, I'm talkin' cats and dogs! But for some reason, girl, I had this CRAVING for ice cream. I mean, Stack was just there, lookin' all good n everything, and so I was like, "now's the time", even in the pouring rain lol! So I go inside, and was pleasantly pleased with the decor. It was fun, light, and was just cohesive with the product. I really just enjoyed being there. It was good feels and energy, you know? I look at the ice cream flavors and was overwhelmed by their large selection. I saw that you choose your ice cream flavor, as well as your cookie(s) flavor(s) to make an ice cream sandwich. I chose the salted caramel ice cream flavor, which....ok, let me just get into it right now. I love all things salted caramel, hear? This ice cream was no different. It was just perfection in texture. Creamy, rich, thick, and perfectly salted. I always taste each item by itself to see if it can hold its own, and this ice cream delivered. It was in that moment, that I knew this place was legit, and puts forth effort into their ice cream. Also, they have some fun, whimsical flavors to choose from, which I will return for! Ok, so for the cookie flavors (I chose 2), I chose to stick with the salted caramel theme and got the salted caramel pretzel cookie, which also just had the perfect amount of salt levels. It cut through the sweetness, which just made me happy. The other cookie I chose was the party cake cookie. I've rarely gone wrong with a party cake flavor anything, and usually enjoy it, and thought the flavors paired well with salted caramel, so felt content with my decision. It was a delicious, chewy, flavorful cookie. It was good enough where you could just buy it separately. I got my ice cream sandwich rolled in one of my favorite cereals, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I mean, I have to say, I know how to pair cookie and ice cream flavors with cereal. It was all cohesive. They all got along beautifully, and made my taste buds happy. My friend was right about Stack. I'm glad I chose to stop by in the pouring the rain. It totally made getting my socks and shoes soaked, worth it! I'll likely stop by every time I go to her place from this point moving forward! I do believe they have another location. Take that trip if you can! Trust.

A really good place to get ice cream/ ice cream sandwich in the heights, especially for the ones living around Washington Park. Their ice creams are really good and taste better than other ice cream places around the neighborhood. The ambience of the place is also good and the staff is friendly. I had ice cream sandwich for the first time and must say it was really good but yeah! Too much of a calorie intake.. the ice cream sandwich though is good when it comes to sharing with others else.. a scoop of ice cream is really good. I do look forward to trying out other flavors in their menu. Staff is pretty friendly here and the payment is easy to make whereas keep an eye on their cookies.. they also sell it next day at a discounted rate!

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly.
