Rude salesgirls. Cute clothes. It could be such a nice place, if the 'ladies' were polite and helpful.

I rolled into the store in my wheelchair and the Hispanic lady employee was very sweet and Helpful…read more It was all well and good until I got into the fitting room. I had to take five dresses at a time the fitting room attendant was giving me five at a time I probably tried on like 10-15 wedding guest dresses. She was helpful and nice at first but also when I saw her and the manager in the fitting room when I walked in I immediately got judgmental vibes. From the raging bitches like they were talking about me and my appearance in their foreign language I felt like they were gossiping about me it was quite obvious. I asked the attendant to help me find dresses in the required colors for the wedding and in a bigger size and she found one pretty dress but in the wrong color. I asked for a lace dress I found in a bigger size which she had told me didn't exist and made me search the plus size section on my own walking without help knowing full well I was in pain. She told me every dress looked good on me when it didn't and the Hispanic lady gave me honest opinions. I'm not even gonna speak on the body con dress they gave me that showed my whole crotch! NOPE NEXT! So I accidentally got makeup on one ill fitting pink dress which they saw and were forcing me into buying it! Is had a budget and couldn't afford it. Just tried it on for size. They were being cruel and trying to make me buy a dress I had no intention of buying. I get it you break it you buy it but that was unprofessional! I offered to clean it i asked for water hand sanitizer and a paper towel they didn't give me water and refused to let me into the bathroom I got the stains out with the towel and sanitizer! I tried on more dresses while the manager constantly banged on my door demanding the dresses back "GIVE ME THE DRESSES GIVE ME DRESSES!" I hung them over the door I was crying she snatched them as if her life depended on it and angrily said she'd be looking for more stains. I came out in a flowy pink satin silk dress I tried on and gave them the one that had the cleaned up stains. Not a single thanks from any of them for making the dress up for resale! In fact they had the absolute audacity to stand there point at the dress I put on and accuse me of nonexistent stains on the dress! I told them "That was there when I put it on my face didn't touch any part of that dress and it wasn't a stain it was a shadow! I was crying ATP I went back to the dressing room the lady kept asking if the dresses I gave her to hang up were ones that I wanted and that she'd have to be the one to hang them up. What a lazy attitude! It was bad enough she didn't help me earlier! I told her "Ma'am I'm giving them back to you I don't want them." I'm pick another one. The manager came back to bang my door again and I heard some customers talking shit after the manager asked me a stupid question "Why are you trying on clothes if you don't know your size?" I asked her if she was serious and that was the stupidest question I've ever heard. Uh because I lost weight?? I was crying and the other women said "I am a loyal customer I don't need to try things on here to know my size I can go home and return it if it doesn't fit blah blah blah" and saying the same thing as the manager and I called her out for not only being in the fitting room but it must be nice having the ability to always do that and for a fact that your size changes when you gain or lose weight like I Have and that's what fitting rooms at stores are for." unless they plan to stay the same size lol. That shut them up. I forgot to mention when I walked back into my change room after being blamed for a stain I didn't make I was already crying and yelling and I told them to their faces that I've never been treated so horribly by store managers and employees and this was the first and last time I'd ever do business with them and they lost my business and lost me as a customer. And that they should've thanked me for removing the stains! I picked my dress went to the register told the customers what happened borrowed one's phone to call my sister to ask if she wanted matching dresses she said no and I told her I will never go to the store again and said I'd tell her why later. Thanked the nice customers and told the cashier that helped me on the floor earlier what happened that I'd be complaining to Yelp and she said that the store is closed on maps so there's no number but now I understand why it's unlisted. I bought the dress and made it clear that the only one I'm doing business with is her that she deserved the sale and that I hope the other two get fired. Then I left went to iHop told customers there my experience and not to go there before using the restroom and going home. I see why the store isn't listed like I said and to Me well it's permanently closed for me too. I'm never going back that was it for me. One and done. Fuck them and their store!

First and foremost I hope my 4 star review will help the staff at this Fashion Q store by bringing…read morelight from all the NEGATIVE, BAD, ONE STAR REVIEWS!! Some people really are not happy in whatever that they DO in their life and like to trash a perfectly normal business in the most ugliest way that's NOT even possible. I have been to this place literally decades ago when they 1st opened.... few times. Haven't been there in decades. Didn't really need or want anything. I happened to be in the area on the 6th of November, and after having lunch with a friend at IHOP, decided to go in and see what has changed SO DRASTICALLY that people are trashing this establishment? With that being said I walked in and was warmly welcomed by Grace who was behind the counter organizing some stuff. She had a mask on, but I could still see her smile thru her eyes. Very nice, calm, soft-spoken woman. The security guy was doing his job by walking around to make sure nobody steels anything. People find that very offensive when a person actually does his/her job and gets paid for it. Store is big, clean, well organized with dressing rooms and multiple articles from accessories, to sweaters, jackets, tank tops dresses, then formal dresses, shoes/boots/flip flops, pants/shorts, belts, formal wears, bustiers/bras hats/barrettes/caps and a WHOLE LOT more. Nicely hung, and very well organized on shelves/tables. I was upset about all those BAD reviews. Yesenia even offered to help me find something. Since I was there, I wanted to find a barrette/hat & added to my collection of barrette/hats and caps... but they didn't have the color that I wanted. They only had gray. I was looking either for yellow or mauve color. Better luck next time. They even apologized to me for not having the colors that I wanted! Prices are affordable comparing to other local businesses. Go check it out for yourself! Store is located on Laurel Canyon/Victory shopping center with a lot of industrial, medical building/facilities. Plenty, Plenty Plenty of parking spaces ALL OVER!!! Keep up the good work & DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO THOSE little shoppers, who don't know what they want.

Such a unique bookstore. Drove the extra mile to come here…read moreand i made sure to leave with no regrets. I, of course, had to take photos of the bookstore. The layout and organization was really nice. Every section had it's own unique look. My favorite, and i think everyone's as well, is what seems to be a tree-like stand in the middle of the interior section of the bookstore. Once i was done admiring it's beauty, It was time for business. How many books can i justify getting!! I decided that i for sure wanted to get a book from a local author and some cool unique books that were unconventional. They had some books behind glass cases and some others that were mass printed in the 90s and a whole section for California based authors. Perfect. They also had many sections of some of my favorite books, books that are on my TBR and many many many books that were so tempting to get that seemed so good. I ended up getting 4 books for under $100. One of which is a book by a local author, and 3 others that were collectibles of some sort. I am very pleased with my purchase and believe the lovely lady that helped me check out agrees. When i come back to Cali, i will be coming back here for more cool books.

Great selection of new and used books. The layout of the bookstore is very unique; I can spend many…read morehours looking around and checking out the variety of books, furniture and decor they have at the store. Enjoyed checking out the table featuring local authors. We were unsure of the parking situation for the store, so we parked in the residential area.
