Stacy led my dance class series and opened my eyes to the transformative power of an open floor movement practice. She created a safe space for us to express ourselves and get to know our bodies in new ways. WOW! Stacey's Open Floor Movement dance workshops are my favorite thing in life right now! She hosts a closed cohort that meets for 5 or 6 weeks at a time. Participants get to know one another through the language of dance, which creates intimacy, community, and a sense of safety that allows for a deeper degree of vulnerability. Stacey does some massage but her specialty is really a combination of Reiki, Acupressure and other alternative modalities. Normally, I really like a regular deep tissue massage but Stacey's work is really different. When she gave me a session, I am not sure what she did, it mostly seems like a subtle touch with slow movements but after a while I fell into a very deep relaxation. It's like she helps your body to just let go, let go of held tension, and blockages. It was more relaxed than I have ever been by any other massage! Its really amazing and I think much more effective than regular massage. I think it a much deeper practice than regular massage. When i went in i was crying andin deep need of letting go of a lot of old stuff hanging around. During the session i felt everything, knew everything i needed to know and felt the exact moment my spirit came back to me. Hmmmm. Yes that is really what happened. It was soft and warm and i am grateful that i had the experience and cant wait for my next session. As i got into my car i was laughing and laughing and i felt amazing. I'm not one to leave yelp reviews, but Stacey deserves it! I took the Reiki Level 1 workshop, and it was really amazing. It's out in the redwoods which is a truly healing experience of its own to be outside, surrounded by the trees, taking in the energy of nature. Her class is very organized and Stacey really knows her practice and is open to questions to make sure you really feel comfortable practicing Reiki. She has a very young playful energy and she's really funny. Being trained by her was like being trained by a friend. She's very positive and light. I would recommend her in a heart beat and you can't go wrong having her as your teacher. I can tell she really cares about helping people and supporting you in healing yourself and others. A great way to let go of some stress. Very relaxing.

Simply put - Amazing! The training was absolutely wonderful, and Stacey is such a great teacher. Considering I have been on the receiving side of Reiki, learning how to share this amazing gift with others was such a blessing. The weather could not have been more perfect during our Reiki Level I certification day and spending the day in the majestic environment among redwoods and nature was truly wonderful. Stacey explained all of the techniques, so they were so easy to understand and follow. At the end of the workshop all of the students got to practice on each other, which considering I haven't practiced giving Reiki before, felt really natural like I have been doing this work for a while. I saw Stacey recently after a particularly challenging time in my life in the hopes of clearing my energy and realigning myself. As an acupuncturist I have been the recipient of a lot of healing work from not only acupuncturists but Qi Gong masters, Reiki healers and massage therapists.
