Parking lot is large and well maintained. It is nice to shop at this store. I find the service is much better at this location, I have never had any issues shopping at this location. The Red White Blue on Sawmill Run Boulevard is larger but it is often less organized, parking is always more difficult especially if the couple accessible spots are taken which they are the majority of the time. I am paralyzed and I have to navigate a road connecting their parking lots which is in awful condition, potholes and bad repairs making it very difficult. The front only had a curb cut at the front door so I have to roll through the parking lot where people are trying to back out and cars entering from 51, often I am lower than most of the vehicle parking there, they are looking for cars not a wheelchair. This is very dangerous for my safety. Closing time is also an issue with one of Male Cashiers being very rude on several occasions, shutting off the lights and telling people we are closing in 15 minutes. It has happened to me a couple times now with the same Male Cashier worker each time. It is not as pleasant to shop at the Route 65 location. I wish you have a better experience than I have shopping there.

This has happened in the past where my items were not picked up because of a truck broken down or no drivers. I am 80 and this is very much of an inconvenience. Why that may be is because it does not look like a business. It sits on a road that looks like a driveway to houses, and the building itself looks like it might be a garage. Once in the parking lot you realize that it is indeed a business and that they are open for business. Like most thrift stores there is an area outside for donations, like a drop box, but this one directly goes inside the building. Simple setup on the inside. The place looks rather small, but I will explain that later. The floor where all the items for purchase are located feels cramped, and a bit unorganized. The aisles are rather small and definitely can become congested. Going to put this out there guys, there is not much clothing items here for you. There is a larger ladies section and children section. But don't let that dissuade you from coming here. On top of the clothing you will find household items, toys, games, and small appliances. The list could go on. Now, back to the point where it feels cramped. The building is rather large so you would think that would equate to a bigger inside, well it is a bigger inside because it shares a space. It shares the space with a food pantry that serves the area. What you buy in the store portion helps fund the food pantry and other services they offer. Great place as it also provides cash assistance which can help cover rent, mortgage, or utility bills.

A lot of what you will find in here are items that have been reclaimed or repurposed. Gives it a little bit of a crafty twist and somewhat personalized. If you want to look at it in a different light, think of this as an Etsy account brought to life. It is a great place to find a thoughtful gift for someone. To top it all off, they have vintage furniture pieces throughout the space that look like display pieces, but in reality they are up for purchase as well. Some of the furniture pieces are quite interesting and I have never seen them personally. Wedding gifts, bridal shower gifts, holiday gifts (no matter the holiday), furniture, and the list could go on. Don't worry guys, there is even things in here for you as well. They actually have a section of the space blocked off and labelled as the 'Man Cave.' Even if you do not purchase anything you can at least get yourself an idea of how to repurpose something you have or how to create something new. Hours are short, but totally doable. The space is rather small and very cramped. With it being like this the items are all packed in and sometimes hard to sift through. There is a bit of organization to the chaos, but in actuality it is just a bit chaotic altogether. I walked in and wanted to go through the men's section and maybe look to see what else they have to offer in terms of knickknacks, but it was just all piled up on itself that it kind of gave me anxiety to go through the stuff. The employee, maybe volunteer, that was working at the time had a flat affect and made for a bit of a weird interaction. When I walked in I had said hello and attempted some idle chit chat, but it was as if I was bothering her, or maybe she just didn't even care that I was there. Whatever it was that kind of added to my anxiety at that point. I sifted a bit, and then just kind of made my way to the door.

The store is organized very well which can make it easier to shop in and less overwhelming than other thrift stores. The clothing's is organized based on whether or not it is a "high-end" brand, which shows you just how carefully the items are looked over. Prices can be a little more expensive than other local thrift stores and sometimes their racks and floor space can seem empty. But like any thrift store, its either a hit or miss. One plus is that they have a variety of different discount days that they offer which can make some of the items even cheaper. Check for these days on their road-side sign.
