The school has been wonderful! It is small so you really get to know everyone there and it is obvious they all care so much about the children. They focus on learning through play and also have additional enrichments like guest readers, a dentist that visits to talk about oral health, fire station trip, etc. My son is learning to write upper and lower case letters and numbers this year and is doing so well! They have a lovely outdoor playground and an indoor gym so the kids can run and play even in inclement weather. They really make learning fun and engaging for the kids and my son is so happy and excited to go to school each day. I would absolutely (and have!) recommended CFCNS to anyone with a preschool or pre-k aged child. I can't wait until my younger child can attend here as well!

The teachers I encountered have no compassion or professionalism. The after 5pm teacher confronted me in the middle of class in front of the other children and teacher about why my daughter didn't follow instructions. Please note I have never met this teacher, she did not introduce herself to me and my child shouldn't have been in that classroom to begin with because arrived at 4:45pm, the children are moved here after from 5pm-6pm for pickup. The director encouraged me to have my child Evaluated by her doctor because she doesn't make eye contact with her (keep in mind she spent little time with my daughter because she was filling in for one of the teachers assigned to my daughter class who left early because she was sick) am not someone that can not take criticism or feedback about their child, but I find it extremely egregious to only spend 2 days with a child who is also 2 years old in a new environment with new people and classmates and suggest that there is something medically wrong with them. My daughter was given no acclamation period and no sympathy. I emailed them a notice to withdraw and never heard back from them. The app they use was not updated accurately, there were pictures posted on my daughters profile that did not include her in the picture. I wasn't notified that she peed on herself or that she didn't eat her lunch. The tour I was given was false advertisement and I would not suggest enrolling your kids here.

At the end of every week, they gave detailed feedback of my daughters progress and what areas she needed to work on. My daughter loved her school and teachers so much that even during weekends she wanted to go to school! The teaching plan included a nice combination of fun play activities with traditional learning. The Alpine Montessori teachers and staff provided a warm and friendly atmosphere for my daughter to take her first steps in her education. The kids won't feel as if they are in "school" exactly because it was something that my son was definitely not ready for. It still has that family feel to it. The parking lot is in the back on the center. It had a yard for the kids to play in with plenty of toys. I went inside and I soon as I walked in I can feel the energy. The not and laughter of the kids was calming to me. Nobody was crying out sad. Nancy has two assistants that help her throughout the day. Well Nancy and I sat down and she gave me all the information about the center. The prices were the most reasonable than any other reputable place on the area with the same atmosphere. I decided to send my son here. He ended up going for about 3 years until he started kindergarten. My son did not want to stop going!! I have made lifetime friends here. Nancy and I are still friends. One of her teachers became one of my best friends. And my son made a great friend. His friends mom is also a good friend that I made there. We still visit from time to time and send cards and pictures every year. This center will quickly make you feel like family.
