Now, a couple of months later, I cannot say better things about our experience with Motherland Childcare, my son is happy, healthy and I feel beyond comfortable with him spending his days there. Latrisha has given me advise and makes me feel that we are working as a team to bring up my son in the best way. She follows all safety guidelines; her facility is immaculate, and she keeps up with his milestones ensuring he is building the physical and social skills appropriate for his age. This review isn't for the school. Kids go there, parents aren't complaining from what I know but…read morethat's all I know! Inside of the school there is this large cafeteria and inside of that cafeteria, you can have yourself a grand ol party if you talk to the right person. We tried booking the place for a retirement party and a couple of the people we got on the phone told us we couldn't do that. However, that's not true! We worked with Carrie Scruggs who told us they were glad the people at our party were asking lots of questions about renting the space because they could use the business/cash. We had about 50-60 people. We could have EASILY fit 100. Carrie says she has squeezed in 200 before. With 50, we had room for a huge dance area. You will need to bring in your own sound system/microphone though. You'll need to bring your food in. They have this large kitchen equipped with a stove, sinks, refrigerator, etc. since they serve the students. You'll need to be careful to obey their signage so as to not violate any health codes (don't want to make kids sick) but that's just being respectful of the space! They have some tables but check to verify the number of tables and chairs to make sure there are enough for your guests. Maria was kind enough to clean the tables for us and then we covered them with tablecloths and decorations. Voila! Party The best part, and the part you've been waiting for is this awesome space cost $75. Our party was on Sunday. They let us in for 2 hours on Friday to start setting up. The party on Sunday was from 2-5. They let us in at 1 (They were a LITTLE late letting us in!) and we needed to be cleaned up and out by 6. Good deal, eh? I wish we could have had more time to set up before the party though. One hour was REALLY pushing it!!! She did open the back and let us bring some things directly into the cafeteria though so that helped. One last thing, the room is currently painted a teal color. As I was out of town and planning the decor, nobody bothered to tell me that. You've been warned!

They are very flexible and ensure we are kept aware of our children's progress or if there are issues with other children or with scheduling they are addressed right away. The meals are included as are lots of the art, crafts and activities. They have extra programs for reading, cooking, math, dance and lots more. The teachers, director and assistant director are always friendly, knowledge and really take the time to get to know our children. We feel Racine KinderCare is really setting up our children for success both socially and academically.
