Going to Sylvan helped him get with his reading skills immensely, my son went from below average to above average in a matter of months! By the end of the school year they asked about placing him in a "gifted program". After that we took a break for a couple years but when my son got into middle school he was struggling again specifically in math... Sylvan was awesome, they were very flexible with our schedule and super accommodating. My son feels more confident at school and we could not be happier with the teachers/staff at Sylvan.

I was anxious and scared when I first had to enroll my 1 yr old in daycare. I asked questions, looked for reviews and although I didn't find much, I have yet to be disappointed by this day care. My daughter cried the first two days, but by day three the familiar faces that have been kind and loving to her was just another part of her daily routine. My babies love this facility from the 11yr old to my 7 yr old Kid tastic has left a lasting impression on my babies and I am forever grateful.

If I could give this place you call a "Daycare" a zero rating I would. My kids attend this daycare…read more& the owner Ebony Brunson is very unprofessional, rude, bad attitude & not reliable. Little babies not in car seats or seat belts. She wants to get paid but always closed two weeks out of the month or she closes the daycare super early, not once being considerate of parents having to work and make a living. She harrasses parents about payments by the first or your children will be dropped.I find it very crazy she wants to get paid to be closed. She will try to play so many games its pathetic.you pay her and she dont want to accept you children, she make up so many lies. She rather spend time getting her BBL & veneers done.Doesnt take the daycare children on outtings or field trips,no activities o etc or anything. One of my children had his arm broken last month by a bigger kid & not the first time he was hurt. The staff doesnt watch the children.I will be calling the state on this Ms Brunson

I'll be completely honest. We ultimately chose this facility because it was the cheapest center in…read morethat area. That being said, I did my homework beforehand and read up on their state survey results, which didn't identify anything I would consider to be major. www.dcf.wisconsin.gov is an excellent resource to check providers out. I had basic requirements in my mind to keep my daughter at the center and they are consistently met. I am notified of changes of conditions in my daughter (ie rash, fever). Her diaper is changed about every two hours at a minimum. The staff offer suggestions to us based on what they observe in her. One example is identifying that she may have ruflux when we didn't see those symptoms as prevalently at home. Turned out to be an accurate assessment. There are the same two providers in the infant room all week, which is a huge plus for me. They have ample toys and activity centers to keep her occupied. The infant room has a separate area for cribs, divided by a half-wall partition. I would have preferred a more separate sleeping area, but she still gets good chunks of sleep there. It is definitely not in the same caliber as, say a Mary Linsmeier center, but my daughter is well cared for and given individual attention by two caring staff members. That is what is most important of anything. The reasonable cost is great, but I wouldn't keep her there unless I was happy.

Every day they come home with new artwork to share and my son is always excited to share what he learned during the day. I have always felt comfortable with the care and have never worried. Don't get me wrong it is never easy to leave your little ones in the hands of strangers but these teachers all have so much love to share. I have always been notified of any health concerns right away. Of course like in any daycare with two year olds you get the occasional biting incident and not only has my daughter been the victim but also the instigator and they did a great job of notifying me and keeping a close eye. I would recommend this facility to anyone I know.

My 15 month old baby has been attending the nook since Dec 2019 when he was just 4 months old and 4ish months pre-covid... The women that work at the Nook understand babies and development and are so sweet and loving. And furthermore, I firmly believe socializing your child at a young age is one of the best things you can do for their growth- studies have shown it and I've seen it with my own eyes. Kids learn so much from their peers and experienced caregivers. Covid has made me question if exposing my child to more people is safe and it probably isn't by having may baby in daycare. But my husband and I both need to work, and at the Nook, they take every safety precaution very seriously- they sanitize daily, masks on everyone except kids under 2, and if an outbreak happens in a classroom, that room is shut down for 2 weeks to protect the rest of the staff and children. I couldn't ask for a better daycare for my baby especially during these uncertain times. The Nurturing Nook was recommended to me by my neighbor who's 6 year old kid is smart funny inquisitive and kind- so from one mom to another I think this place is legit AF.
