They have two giant playground swings that areas that I'm gonna have to take my kids to because they would enjoy playing on it. The staff here are super helpful and very friendly if you need anything. The pool deck and the sauna are a nice way to relax. The sauna is great for post workout relaxing too. They have 2 workout areas, the upper and the lower. The upper area has cardio equipment and a lot of free weights to use. The lower area has a lot of the same cardio equipment as the upper area, but has the weighted machines. They have a variety of classes at different times and for different skill levels. No one looked like they were writing my information down. Then when I called I was told it's taken cared of Thursday then rolls Monday no transaction was made so I have to keep trying to call April which I already called. I made a dispute with my back . Pay with cash. I found a cheaper place 11 dollars for me and my daughter verse 40 a day it's cleaner too.

Iroquois park is the spot to be at, they have a decent amount of parking, definitely could use some more. We walked from the main entrance parking lot to the North overlook at back distance was able 4.30 miles we did do some extra walking around another area on our way back down. But a beautiful trail with decent amount of trees for some shade. There is some parking available closer to the trail however is was definitely full lot by the time I arrived. There is a golf course as well. Definitely a well cherished park as we saw a lot of hikers, bikers, running, the courts were full and the playgrounds were busy and just people enjoying the views and wonderful weather.

Friendly staff member gave me a map for all seven floors and the place is immaculately clean. The locker room was impressive as well as the different floors to do exercise on. Also only cost a dollar to park for an under three hour workout. Plus as a Y member in Georgia they let me work out for free. Definitely an excellent place to work out if you're in town.

We were also told we are not allowed to leave him in the car, that we essentially needed to leave. Again, my first Mother's Day, refused because I require a service dog. It's also tucked into the neighborhood well enough that outsiders aren't likely to drive by. But Algonquin Park has a lot going for it. For one thing, it's massive -- 16 acres, one of the biggest neighborhood parks around. It also has a real swimming pool (closed this year because of COVID), an obvious rarity. And it's big enough to have a playground, splashground, basketball courts, grills, a walking path, and a football field, with plenty of room left over. The playground was refurbished just last year with new climbing structures, swings, and a slide.

Sports complex - There are two baseball diamonds with covered dugouts for the players and bleachers for spectators. Adjacent to the diamonds are two regulation sized soccer fields with goals. There is also fields appropriate for younger athletes. Central to the complex is a concession stand run by volunteers in the community. A wide variety of beverages as well as snacks are offered. Some of these include sodas, juice, water, hotdogs, pretzels, nachos & warm cheese, etc. There are restrooms located in the same building as the concession stand. 2. Rachel's Fun For Everyone Park - This past year RFFEP became a reality to our community as well as its founder, Rachel Ritchie. The park is fenced in so as to contain the children and prevents them from running into the parking lot. The intention of the park is for our special needs friends within our town and neighboring towns as well. The equipment includes swings, slides, a rock-wall, seated zip-line, seesaws, tactile toys, benches and most importantly a soft surface pad to protect our friends from injuring themselves and allows wheelchairs/motorized/walking aides to travel safely from each piece of equipment. The park is for all of our little friends. 3. Parking - There are parking options available adjacent the park as well as the outside perimeter fence surrounding the soccer and baseball fields. 4. Picnic tables and over head cover are available for picnickers and travelers and are adjacent to recreational vehicle hookups. There is plenty of shade, walking areas and a stream that runs parallel to the park where people often fish. Each year the park hosts Vine Grove's Fall Festival, Bluegrass Festival, organized run/walks and other events. The only reason why I rated Optimist Park at four stars is because the bathrooms are small, sometimes messy, not stocked with soap/paper towels and does not offer a changing table.

They have had numerous events such as a music festival and let the local JROTC have an event there. The only issue I have is that the very back of the park is filled with graffiti, some including slurs. They have a soccer field that is maintained fairly well for youth soccer but the baseball field(s) are rarely used except for practice and a local match between police and fire fighters. Overall a good place to visit, but be wary of the loud train that comes by every once in a while. I would rate it 5 stars if it was not for the graffiti.
