My older sons went to other preschools and I felt nothing when they were done. Ms. Sheryl who work there is the most loving individual who loves the kids with all her heart. Her daughter Jasmine also works there and is an absolute sweetheart. Mrs Sheri in the office is the nicest lady who was the reason I picked this school. She did our tour when we were in the process of picking schools and was so professional and kind. I will forever recommend this school.

Updated review: 2024…read more The infant care is very good. The teachers at infant care are very kind and great at what they do. So if you have a kid 18 months and younger, youll get great teachers. Now for the cons. They have cancelled quite a bit because the lack of teachers. This week they cancelled a week because their teachers got sick. Which leads me to why I pulled my kid out of the school. When a week was cancelled, which is a huge inconvenience to working parents, I had a convo with Michele who is the director there. I suggested that they get back up teachers so that they can provide the services we pay for. There was no raising of voices or foul language. She disagreed saying that the environment wasnt safe and insinuated that I was putting my son in danger. She was dismissive and didnt care that she was making parents pay for extra care and didnt even offer anything or apologize. So i cut the convo off saying it wasnt productive and that our son was changing school next month anyways. She then emailed me and my wife informing that i was rude and that she would be kicking my son out of their school unless I wrote an apology. What a power trip. So we pulled him out because i didnt feel safe sending my kid to a place where the person in charge has this mindset.

One of the main ones being that our kid fell off the play structure and broke a bone. Instead of calling us, they actually picked our kid up and moved them to a nearby picnic bench. I am amazed each day at what my 3 year old comes home having learned. He is starting to write his letters, counting to 30, improving his social skills, and most importantly, he knows that Jesus loves him dearly. As a teacher myself, it is important to me that my kids get an education that focuses on the whole child, and that is apparent at Monarch. When searching for preschools, I visited and toured over 10 different schools. I found Monarch to be head and shoulders above the others. Some things that stood out to me were... there is a very clear curriculum and learning goals for each day (even for my 1 year old), not only is there daily communication about how my child is doing, but also a more formal meeting twice a year to discuss present levels and goals to help them continue learning in the areas specific to their needs, teachers are constantly learning through staff development opportunities, and teachers not only teach Christian values, but they live them out each day in their classrooms.
