Good luck getting these people to keep an appointment. They cancelled on us three times. The first two times they texted my cell phone. The third time they DID NOT text or call my cell phone but called my land line to confirm. I didn't get it so they cancelled. I called saying we were coming in and they said to reschedule. I had a tooth infection and had to have it extracted and this office got me in immediately. I did call other oral surgeon's closer to my home but the wait was long. I called yesterday and they saw me today. Everyone was so nice. The dentist that did my extraction was Dr. Arnone, and he explained everything to me and told me what to expect. The staff that I dealt with were Joann, Mindi, Ellen & Marjorie. I highly recommend this practice. It turns out that I went there previously in 2014. read more

I had a tooth infection from my wisdom tooth and it went into my gums , and jaw bone with how bad it got I could've went septic and they told me I had to wait 4 month for a appointment then I called yesterday 5/13 around 10am in extreme pain and they got me in for oral surgery by 1:45pm that same day ! I had Dr. Geller and his assistant Amanda , they're normally from stroudsburg location but go their on Mondays but they were amazing !! WORST EXPERIENCE AND VERY DISORGANIZED! Receptionist said she didn't have Referral from my Sons Ortho. and said She seen that yesterday He had no Referral on File. Appt was at 2:30p.m So I call Spark Ortho. Who said she would email it now & confirmed email address with Receptionist. Then we get called back to a room, Staff asked us about referral so I told them then said they got email but cant open it & got locked out. Then dr comes in asked about referral again and asked What they wanted him to do. He should be prepared day before a client even comes in with a plan. Its now 3:45p.m Im really upset bc now another staff comes gets us and says We need to reschedule for 8/18 My son took off an 8 hr work day today, We drove 1 hour, now they want u to take off again. I waited less than 10 minutes to be taken into the office to see Dr Fanelle and then saw him within 10 minutes. Dr Fanelle was gentle, kind and thorough. He was also honest. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. The biggest problem is they're booked 3 months out. The nurses are nice too but one of the surgeons wasn't very friendly. He seemed agrivated when I asked a question and downplayed my pain level. A little "bedside manner" should be expected in a situation where people are likely to experience some level of anxiety. read more

Unfortunately our experience was less than ideal. The dentist never introduced himself to myself or my daughter, who was the patient. She was incredibly nervous, and he never looked at her, said hello, or addressed her or her concerns in any way. The office staff was acceptable, but by no means friendly; this would have been fine, had the dentist been personable in the slightest. He shared no additional information, and when I did ask a question (if we had any other options), his response was "that's not my job. My job is to take out the tooth." This was just a general overview- I am sure I am forgetting comments that made us uncomfortable or made no extra effort at making my young daughter less nervous. We will not be returning, and would never recommend this office to anyone. read more

To say that this place is a ghetto is an understatement. Nothing but money hungry dentists, they will leave you in pain just because you owe them 30.00 bucks. That's it 30.00 and takes months to get in. Mind you they sent my statement to the wrong address and the lady at the desk confirmed that. Both myself and my teenage daughter were referred to St. Lukes OMS from our primary dentist to have wisdom teeth extracted. Although we originally consulted with a different oral surgeon (whom we did not feel comfortable with due to his general demeanor) we were redirected to meet with Dr. Geller. Dr. Geller has a polite and professional approach. He is clear, informative, and reassuring. We proceeded forward to have Dr. Geller perform the extractions for both of us. The process was simple and without any complications. We were both provided with post care instructions and recovery was as expected. The staff were a bit abrasive and sterile in their approach, but warmed up as the procedures elapsed. I would not hesitate to return for future procedures for myself or my daughter with Dr. Geller. read more

I know this isn't the common opinion on this oral surgery center but we did not have a very good experience with this practice. First of all, when going through a St Luke's practice, I have very high expectations. Pretty much every St Luke's facility I've been to has been top notch, all expectations were met, and everyone always goes above AND beyond. Unfortunately this was not the case at St. Luke's OMS. My 17 year old daughter went to St Luke's OMS to have her wisdoms teeth removed. The staff was friendly enough, the location was convenient and parking was easy. The nurse who assisted the surgeon was thorough and the procedure room was clean. Unfortunately that's all the good things I have to say. The appointment was very rushed and the surgeon was unsympathetic to my daughter's fear of needles which was a huge issue with the IV. I called the practice days before to let them know how nervous and stressed out she was so they should have made the necessary preparations. I understand that we took longer than usual for our appointment because of this, however, as soon as my daughter woke up from the anesthesia they wanted her out of the chair and out of the practice. She was still dizzy and they only cared about freeing up the room. I understand that they have other patients coming in and were probably running behind, however a good practice should anticipate these situations! Good care and good service should never been compromised because of poor scheduling practices. They should have had the capability of scheduling the next patient into another room, or schedule procedures farther apart or even better, have a recovery area for patients. They had no concern for her from the second the IV was removed. This is very unlike St. Luke's. Never have we felt so rushed. Additionally, neither myself or my daughter ever saw the surgeon after the procedure. No update on how everything went, whether there was any surprises or problems...just put your mask on and leave---over your mouth filled with blood and gauze! To walk 10ft to the door out where she would encounter NO ONE ELSE. I myself have had simple fillings done and my dentist has called that evening to make sure all was ok. We've heard nothing (even a nurses call would have been sufficient.) I'll be curious to see if we receive a call today, one day post surgery. I'm not holding my breath. I guess I expected more from a practice that is affiliated with St. Luke's. Regardless, my daughter recovered exceptionally well. Minimal swelling, very little pain, very little bleeding and no bruising. She was doing her homework and looking completely normal 4 hours post surgery! I don't think this had much to do with the oral surgeon but things certainly could have been worse! Would I recommend this practice to others, no I wouldn't. We went to the facility in Easton, but perhaps the Bethlehem location would have been a better choice. We were actually scheduled there first but our appointment was canceled by St. Luke's due to a scheduling issue. It's a shame because maybe our experience would have been different. Perhaps they have better accommodations. Additionally, I should have done better research on my own about which surgeon could have handled my daughter's care with a little more empathy, because this surgeon fell well below the mark! Very little patience, no empathy, he really didn't care at all. read more

I approved extraction of 6 baby teeth for my daughter, paperwork I signed right before surgery confirmed which 6 teeth were being removed. Doctor removed 7. Referring orthodontist was very clear about that specific tooth being crucial for my daughter to not end up having a big gap for the rest of her life due to adult tooth possibly never coming down. Office didn't give me copies of any paperwork regarding the procedure or any explanation as to why changes were made without my consent. went in for a small surgical procedure. The lady at the front desk was very nice. I had a surgical procedure done previously at the St. Luke's in Allentown so I had expected it to be about the same. it was not. they did not explain anything about the procedure or tell me when they were getting started. They just started jamming needles in my arm wiggling them around. When he could not get a vein in my arm he left the needle hanging out of my arm while trying another spot on my hand with no warning. He jammed the needle straight into my hand and then when I yelled out in pain he told me to watch my mouth. I started crying because it hurt so badly and I was so upset that they just started poking me without any warning and they did nothing to comfort me. They let me sit there and cry before jamming medicine to put me to sleep in my IV with no warning for that either. they were not nice or compassionate and I felt like they wanted me in and out. They sent me out the door without any gauze or instructions for care. i don't even know if they prescribed me any antibiotics or anything cause they got me out of there so quickly. The doctor was very rude Dr. Fedele I think his name was. This was not a good experience it was borderline traumatic. the Saint Luke's in Allentown was amazing but I would not recommend Easton and especially not that doctor fedele. read more

Poor communication. I was told when I made the appointment that they would be extracting my tooth. Upon my arrival I was told it was just a consultation. The next appt is not till end of March may. In the amount of time and gas I spent I could have just paid for my tooth to be extracted locally as apposed to driving an hour. read more

Had appointment set for today which I made two months ago. Was scheduled to have 15 teeth removed so needless to say I was thinking about today for quite awhile. Apprehensive, worried that something could go wrong with surgery and planning my diet, etc. After talking to surgeon and having the technician hook up monitors and waiting 20 minutes I was informed of a problem with the vacuum/ suction machinery. I had to reschedule, and will be spending yet another week dreading the procedure! I find it hard to believe an organization as large as St. Luke's does not have back-up or a contingency protocol for situations such as this! Needless to say I am very pissed off! I will be having the procedure done next week at a different office, which is a inconvenience in itself, because I wouldn't be able to see another provider for another two months. Excellent in every way from start to finish. The office staff is great the doctor was exceptional. Went in for implant surgery during the initial appointment everything was explained in great detail. The surgery was very well done, doctor went right to it after a quick refresher(there was a delay between appointments due to the shutdown). I had 2 teeth extracted today and everything went great. GREAT OFFICE. The dentist and his assistant were wonderful. Very disgusting behavior, not only had me waiting at desk for nearly 10 minutes, none answered phone, dr proceeds to tell me he doesn't have time to extract teeth I came I to get extracted , first it was have to wait for insurance approval- I have all the insurance approvals on me then it's script says one tooth, I have both scripts on me and spoke with receptionist for nearly an hour explaining how went for regular cleaning they dug too hard tooth fell out n made emergency appointment even though I already had appt f2 months away for tooth that was supposed to be pulled years ago but they refused to pull when I called to reschedule because I had no transportation and was badly injured ( they didn't care about that said they weren't reschedulin. After pandemic, new dentist went for cleaning, dug too hard tooth fell out couldn't get the rest out with novacain reschedul, next tooth fell out day after: date of appointment get there they say I don't have appointment ( July 7) my appointment is today. Come in and dealt with micro aggression, bias and racial behavior. From Dr Arnone. One of the Nurses comes to doorand mutters good riddance,, then yell have a nice day, lo, just wiwww!!! I was called the day before my procedure was supposed to be, after a two month wait for this appointment only to be told it wouldn't be covered by my insurance, again, the day before. I called my insurance and My Insurance company told me that nothing was submitted by the doctor to show medical necessity In order to cover it. I told the office staff what the insurance company said the dr needed to submit in order to cover all of my procedure but the dr nor the office never even got back to me by the end of the day so I knew what was going on For the next day. I had to show up the next day bc my appt was at 8am to find out if I would have this done or not. I ended up seeing and speaking to the dr and explained all this to him but he was unwilling to do anything added that my Insurance was requiring so I'm looking elsewhere for an oral surgeon now. Smh so frustrating! I never felt so uncared for by a dr before. read more
