This past Friday I had an entirely different type of experience that will cost his practice a patient. I had an appointment scheduled months in advance for Friday 10/18 at 10:30 am. I STILL HAVE THE CARD. I had received text message reminders and a phone call reminder all leading up to this appointment. I scheduled myself to work from home that day so that I could go to this appointment for what I assumed was a cleaning. Due to road construction on my way there I would say that I arrived roughly 8 or 9 minutes late. I'm going to say that this amount of time late should NOT have been a problem because when I go there I literally NEVER walk straight into the appointment. I always have to wait!! Your time is no more valuable than mine is. Also, most PROFESSIONAL businesses give a courtesy amount of time too allow people to get to the appointment. Some of us actually work for a living. But I digress... Anyway, I walk up to the desk, give the receptionist my name and she says I don't have you on my schedule for today. I said well I certainly have an appointment. She keeps looking at the screen and asking me if I'm sure and to give her my name again. She still couldn't find me. Then I showed her my text message reminder. She then gets up and walks toward the back into the office and starts engaging in conversation with other women (one was definitely a hygienist whom she asked to do a cleaning for me) because she (the hygienist) said well she's not on the schedule and she's 15 minutes late even if she was so NO I cannot see her. This was said in a nasty tone while looking in my direction. I HEARD her say this as she was standing in a doorway, casually chatting up other women. She was clearly NOT busy. I said no, "She" (meaning myself) was not 15 minutes late and if it weren't such a Scooby Doo mystery of why I'm here I could have been getting seen by now. They very nastily told me I couldn't be seen that day and that I had been removed or crossed off the schedule because I was late. You have got to be joking. I'm sure you clowns have cameras. Check them and see how late I was and don't use that as an excuse for your ineptitude and unprofessionalism. I was told I could reschedule. I said I would do no such thing since you all wasted my valuable time. Dr. Fabey, your practice is only as good as your staff.

I must also admit I am one of the few people who actually likes going to the dentist (probably linked to my grandfather being my first dentist). I haven't had many issues with my teeth, so the majority of my visits are spent with the dental hygienist. I usually get Minna who is very friendly. Dr. Piorkowski usually comes in towards the end of the visit to have a look and he is also pleasant. I still come to the practice even though I haven't lived in Easton for over 7 years. I always manage to work in a visit when I am home for something else. I love coming here and seeing familiar faces. From walking in the door and seeing Margaret (receptionist/office coordinator) to Minna and the other hygienists, they make the trip to the dentist enjoyable. I made a call yesterday, 6/18/15 to another oral surgeon, and they scheduled a consultation visit for 7/26/15. Yup, over a month. I was supposed to advise my dentist when I had made an appointment. They were not happy that I was to wait that long. I told them that Milano and Mazza were close enough that I would consider going there. I hung up and in less than 15 minutes, I received a call from M&M's office to schedule my appt for today with Dr Mazza. (I'm just gonna call them M&M from now on, it seems easier, hehe) I thought I needed two visits, that I would have one procedure done, and a consult on the second procedure. But nope...they did it all in one shot, which I am thrilled about. I saw Dr. Mazza today, during the prep and the procedure, he showed great concern for any pain or discomfort that I might feel. I tried to make it clear that pain in the dentist chair does not bother me, since I know it's temporary. But I could tell that he wanted me to be comfortable and pain free. Post-procedure, Dr. Mazza went over followup care in detail, answering any questions...the usual stuff that you get from a good doctor. The staff is very friendly and I felt less like a patient and more like a customer :) I'm glad that the other place I attempted to visit was booked, and that I had to schedule with Dr Mazza. If you require the services of an oral surgeon, do yourself a favor and visit them first.

I will never bring my family back here, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for care. We walked in for an appointment today and immediately felt an incredibly uncomfortable vibe. The waiting room was heavily decorated in a way that felt more like a political rally, maga boomer living room VA, than a neutral medical facility. In a lighthearted, almost joking manner, I asked the front desk receptionist, "Is this a MAGA dentistry?" Instead of a direct answer, she just replied that it was "America's birthday." Okay, sure.....and i wish that I got the decorations on the tree. I sat down to fill out paperwork, but literally 30 seconds, the only other patient in the waiting room decided to intervene. Having overhead my question, she stood up, walked over, and completely accosted my son and me. She began screaming at us, demanding that we leave, and claimed she was taking pictures of us. What makes this completely unacceptable is the staff's reaction: * Total Inaction: The office workers sat by and did absolutely nothing. They allowed a grown adult to scream at a parent and a 14-year-old child in their own waiting room. * Lack of Privacy Protection: They permitted another patient to threaten our privacy inside a medical facility. * Blaming the Victim: When I called the office later to address how poorly this was handled, the staff blamed me for the incident and hung up the phone. My son was smart enough to start recording when she approached us. I am sharing the video below to show the interactio, no faces are shown, but you can see the sheer hostility we faced. A medical office should be a safe, professional, and neutral environment for all patients. Instead, Milano and Mazza Oral Surgery proved to be an incredibly unprofessional environment with a staff that refuses to protect or respect their clients. My money will absolutely never go to a business that aligns with this environment and treats families this way. My original question was obviously answered by them not answering me at all. I cannot get them to call me back about my permanent dentures. I reported them to BBB about them…read morenot returning my calls which I called them for about 2 weeks re adjustments which they finally returned my call. I also had several lower teeth pulled. I had new bottom ones made and I was told my permanent ones will be done in November. Before that time, I lost my lower ones and paid for new lower dentures. After coming in for adjustments, I asked them about getting my permanent top dentures, after checking my records, the dental assistant told me to make an appointment for that. A few days later I tried calling them again but after a week or two of calling, I finally got a call back telling me I already got my permanent ones. After I hung up I realized it was just my bottom dentures they worked on. I have been calling for weeks and have not received a call yet. My top dentures are loose and keep falling out of my mouth without a lot of adhesive but they told me I had my top permanent ones. Which is not true. Now again they won't answer my calls for an appointment to get this done. I would never recommend this dental office since it is all about getting the money and not about how they treat patients.
