Inevitably, during the COVID, my wisdom tooth cracked back in May and I was giving me a LOT of pain. I did a google search for surgeons in my area & made an appointment for July 30th. Understandably, every medical office is backed up due to COVID. I was anxious for 2 months awaiting my appointment, but I was in pain so it was not an option to continue postponing the inevitable. The process up until that day went smoothly - back & forth emails to get all my paperwork in prior to my appointment was very helpful. When I arrived for my appointment, I was very anxious. The woman who checked me in was very calming and helpful. The woman who took my x-rays was gentle and kind. They took me right back to the examination room and the woman who did my intake was awesome - again very calming and made me feel at ease. Meeting Dr. Chaudhry was another great experience. He was honest and told me that sedation was recommended for my procedure - especially knowing how anxious I was. Considering I was not prepared with a ride home, they waited patiently while I made arrangements to have my fiance pick me up. Also considering I do not have dental insurance & was not prepared for the additional sedation cost, Dr. Chaudhry worked with me and he was more than generous in his quote. I am so very thankful for that. The procedure was a dream - everyone was gentle, calming, & kind. I remember & felt NOTHING after the IV went into my arm. After the Novocaine wore off that evening I was sore, but in no pain whatsoever - which was surprising to me. I can not tell you how much this experience may very well have "cured" by fear of dentists. Every single person there made me feel welcome and calm. I called the office to ask about how my Delta Dental insurance would work with their office, and…read morewas told that my check ups would be covered and that I would receive an estimate before any dental procedure letting me know how much it would be with insurance coverage. That sounded like the coverage for the dentist I had been to for the past 15 years, so I booked the appointment. The "covered" checkup ended up costing $265 out-of-pocket and the filling that was estimated at around $200 came to $664 out-of-pocket. So a total of $865 out-of-pocket instead of the $200 I was expecting. The out-of-pocket charge comes as a surprise bill in the mail after you pay the initial amount that they estimated. So I had already had the filling done before I found out that "covered" check up cost me $265 out of pocket. The excellent dentist that I went to for the past 15 years was always very up front about cost and did not do business this way. This is absolutely disgusting.

I cannot get them to call me back about my permanent dentures. I had new bottom ones made and I was told my permanent ones will be done in November. Before that time, I lost my lower ones and paid for new lower dentures. After coming in for adjustments, I asked them about getting my permanent top dentures, after checking my records, the dental assistant told me to make an appointment for that. A few days later I tried calling them again but after a week or two of calling, I finally got a call back telling me I already got my permanent ones. After I hung up I realized it was just my bottom dentures they worked on. I have been calling for weeks and have not received a call yet. My top dentures are loose and keep falling out of my mouth without a lot of adhesive but they told me I had my top permanent ones. Which is not true. Now again they won't answer my calls for an appointment to get this done. I would never recommend this dental office since it is all about getting the money and not about how they treat patients.
