I'm really glad I picked Axes in O'Fallon because the staff made everything so easy and they really cared about my progress. From the receptionists in the front who were super helpful with scheduling, to the Techs that stepped in to help and assist, everyone there really cares about their patients. Shout out to Taylor Elmore. She was kind, explained everything about my progress and treatment in a way that I could easily understand, and her humor made even the most difficult exercise easy to handle. If I need to get P/T again in the future (although hopefully not!), I will definitely call up this location again and would recommend it to my family and friends should they need any help.

Through a couple months of therapy I was able to address underlying weaknesses and get back to running pain-free! Jessica not only got me back to running but the work I did at Cora set me up for a successful build up to the Chicago Marathon where I qualified for the US Olympic Trials. None of this would have been possible without the work I did at Cora! Fast-forward a little over a year and my hip pain was finally diagnosed. With COVID, it seemed like the perfect time to correct my 2 labral tears and FAI through surgical intervention. When I arrived at CORA 2 days post-op, still in my clunky brace, ice pack, crutches, and all, Jessica knew just what to do and we began range of motion exercises. Now, 7 weeks post-op, I am already running again! I feel great and credit all of this to my work at PT! For anyone looking for a great PT practice filled with the best staff, Cora is the place to go!

I ignored it for a while which was dumb & because of that it was really starting to affect my daily life. I had a lot of discomfort while sleeping, was limited on lifting things over my head & reaching certain ways. I also could tell my shoulder was getting weaker. My therapist at Cora Creve Coeur was Joey and we meshed so well from the start! During my first interaction with him, I could tell his expertise, professionalism and dedication were going to be second to none. You could also tell that he was incredibly caring and he listened to what I had to say about my symptoms. I felt heard with Joey and knew he was going to improve my range of motion and decrease the pain I was having. Through a very detailed & comprehensive assessment of my shoulder, he was quickly able to pinpoint what was going on & came up with a game plan of strengthening/range of motion exercises, stretches, massages, & muscle scraping techniques. PT is of course, not the most exciting thing to go through but Joey made things fun, effective and truly made a difference in my shoulder recovery. I left Cora with no pain, range of motion that was back to normal and gained so much strength back in my shoulder. It's been quite a few months since I've finished up there and my should still feels totally normal and healthy.
