Due to covid I lost my employment in which I shared with them and don't have the ability to pay bases on ther now enforced policy. So now they've taken the bill and reported it to collections. Holistic therapy, aside from…read moretraditional exercises, they perform manual therapy, electrical stimulation, etc. It wasn't what I expected, as I'd never had PT before, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not kidding. I started off my sessions with heat and electrical stimulation in a darkened room, trickling fountain water, and relaxation music- it was great. All questions were addressed. I was terrified, but the head therapist (Hunter), PT assistant (John), and the graduating doctoral student (Zach- who's no longer there, because, well, he graduated) were awesome at alleviating those fears. A tip- I think it best bet to work with Hunter, John, or a doctoral student further in their curriculum. Or who ever they've hired to supplement the staffing. But student-wise I may have lucked out with a brilliant one, honestly. That aside, the staff works well together, and as a patient, it makes for a welcoming atmosphere. The therapists and office staff develop rapport with patients. Unlike other therapy offices, this may be a less efficient business model (however, it's a damn good one for patients), but what they do is when you're assigned to a therapist, someone may assist, yet for the most part, you have the attention of that one therapist or PT assistant (who is still excellent btw) for the duration of your appointment. So the caregiver to patient ratio is basically 1:1 it seems, rather than 1:3. I felt like this made a difference because when I called with problems to my injury, my therapist knew who I was. Working with me, he knew my quirks care-wise and what to look for. Having been forced to go elsewhere due to insurance, I'll say that my new therapist himself is wonderful, but the business model of the new office is a whole different beast. It feels like an assembly line. If you really want a different experience, that holistic (hence the name Omni) and individualized care, which is crucial if your injury causes anxiety, I'd recommend looking here first. Kudos to Hunter for offering something very different in the healthcare world.

Jodi is the Absolute BEST physical therapist around. I'm in my 20s and have had plenty of injuries…read moregrowing up, never needed PT. However, I was injured at work and healing independently was no longer an option. Every worker in this location is absolutely amazing and became family. I spent 3x a week with them for approximately 8 months before I was comfortable enough to leave personally. But that's to no fault of the location, I just wanted to be safer than sorry later so I stuck to it for longer. PT kicked my butt DAILY. And right when things were starting to feel easy, Jodi changed the workouts and made me feel like I was back at square one. She was also able to read her clients well. I've seen her be the sweetest person to an old lady who needed motivation to keep doing. But me? I was challenged. I got the attitude and the push she knew would work for someone like me. Things that seemed so small like standard squats were the only reason I was able to use a bathroom on my own again because you never realize how low toilets actually sit until your knee doesn't work. I could go on and on about how beneficial it was for me to be hear and I was not originally happy to be there. I didn't want PT, didn't think I needed PT and felt a pride hit being there. But now I know the benefits of going and hopefully I'll never have to go back but if I do, I'd never look for a different location or therapist.

The best decision I made was to go to Ozzie Smith for my knee issues. The cortisone injections…read morewere no longer working and I could no longer walk safely without the aid of canes or a walker. After getting PRP and stem cells, I was able to ride at least 2 miles on a recumbent bike in 10 minutes and 87% of my knee function was restored. I no longer walk with the aid of a cane or walker and can stand upright without knee pain or fear of falling. All of this progress is completely due to the staff at the Ozzie Smith IMAC Center. If it weren't for them, I would most likely be in a wheelchair by now.
