My mother (87 y/o) saw Deni for OT after a fall/broken wrist. She went for hand/shoulder strengthening during cast placement. And, of course, saw him after cast was removed. He was compassionate and encouraging as he structured her exercises to based on her ability to understand. I entered physical therapy following my first knee replacement at the end of January 2023 and finished this day September 25, 2023. The second knee replacement was June 14, 2023. When I entered the facility I had no expectations or understanding of the process of physical therapy. I was introduced to David Jackson who was assigned to me for therapy. David did an excellent job of understanding my needs and providing a roadmap of steps to achieve maximum success. David provided reservation dates throughout the course of treatment that allowed me to plan my personal activities. David was genuinely interested in my wellness and progress through to the end. With his help and guidance I was able to regain dexterity, balance and strength all without pain. As I departed today I reflected on my overall experience and the staff of people that contributed to making me feel welcome. The facility is brightly lighted and open with enough overall space to allow for the execution of the various exercises. The entire staff is very professional and welcoming. I chose Athletico after my knee surgery, because I was also having vertigo issues (dizzy spells) this led me to David. David has special training to allow him to treat vertigo as well as physical therapy for my knee. I could not have been more happy with him. His heart is truly in his work and his knowledge is very supportive. Don't believe the no pain no gain adage, with therapy. Andrew has been rehabbing my ankle and heel for the past several weeks (Achilles rebuild). He is very knowledgeable, personable, and sets reasonable but challenging goals.
