The interior is dark and inviting with different places to sit and relax and drink hot tea afterwards . The float roam was clean. Had a shower and submerged myself in the pool . Didn't really fall asleep but felt like I was submerged into a warm cocoon of comfort . It got dark but I asked for the music to stay on . It was cozy and so so relaxing . The guides Lilia and Jesus were welcoming and informative. I am actively looking to go back as I type this

Float STL - Midtown is located off Locust Street where there's metered street parking. This was a…read morelate birthday treat for my dad, and he had never been prior to this. My last visit was in 2023 for my birthday. Upon entering, you are met with the soothing smells of a spa. The best way I can describe it is like the smell of a Hilton Hotel hallway. You have to take off your shoes and leave them at the door, so don't be like me and wear flip-flops, because otherwise you will be barefoot on the floor. Our guide was Jesus, who was very peaceful, kind, and explained everything to us. He even was able to give me booties I could wear, although he stated that their floors are very clean. He was barefoot himself. I believe him, but I am super paranoid. Anyway, they had a few additions to the spa since my last visit, such as an infrared sauna, a cold plunge tank, and zero-gravity massage chairs. He gave us a tour of these offerings after we consumed our tea. After we used the restrooms, he gave us a tour of our pods. I felt like Jesus did a wonderful job of explaining to my father how to enter and exit the pod and making sure he had what he needed prior to entering so that he could enjoy his experience. You have to take a shower before you enter and after you exit the pod. Lights and music are optional, as is closing your pod versus leaving it open. There is a bottle of fresh water to spray on your face should salty water get near your eyes. With the salt volume, you shouldn't get salt in your eyes unless you fall asleep in there and turn really fast like you're in bed or in a rotisserie oven. They also provide earplugs to keep the water out and petroleum jelly should you have minor open cuts. The water should only come up to your chin or right below your ear when you're on your back. There is a halo you can rest your head on if you can't trust your head to stay afloat (which it will). They have monthly membership packages should you want to self-care each month as well. After our session, we had another cup of tea and then had some brunch. Let me not forget their powder room has just about anything you could need after such a relaxing experience and their hair conditioner loves my curls! I have always enjoyed my experiences at this location and in Maryland Heights. They have amazing guides and create such a curated experience for their guests.

As this particular class was "Open" level, it was well rounded for all the skill levels who were there. It did not feel competitive, and Anne introduced all the students to one another at the beginning of class (which was really welcoming!) I bought their one month all-you-can-take drop-in class card for $140 (my rate was slightly lower because I am a student). For the drop-ins, you can come to the Pilates mat, Zumba, yoga, Nia, and Gyrotonic classes. It does not include equipment classes, but is still a great deal as they offer so much. Groupon has a deal with them this month-- a $30 private session! Not only is that a lot of savings, but I always recommend that everyone coming into the Pilates modality takes at least one private session. It is a good way to talk one-on-one with a professional trainer about your body, goals, and any previous injuries while getting a good workout. My favorite quote of the day was when our teacher said: "Motion is the lotion for the muscles of the body" I thought that was fantastic!

It's worth reading this long review : I've been to many…read moredoctors' offices and medical facilities because of chronic health issues, and Modern Med stands out for its exceptional, compassionate nursing team. They've always been patient, knowledgeable, and determined, even when my care has been challenging. The clinic is beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable hydration chairs that make every visit relaxing. Whether you're there for IV hydration, wellness services, skincare, laser treatments, or injections, the team goes above and beyond to make you feel genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Modern Med! Lauren, the owner, is truly one of the most inspiring women I've ever met. After hearing her story and getting to know her, I left feeling motivated to chase my own dreams. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that passion shines through in every part of her business. I think it's incredible that, despite being the owner, she's still hands-on and will personally start IVs and care for patients. That says so much about her character. She doesn't just own the business--she lives it. She cares deeply about her employees, and it shows because every single member of the staff seems genuinely happy to be there. If I were a nurse, this is exactly the kind of environment I'd want to work in. Lauren is compassionate, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and someone I highly recommend following on social media because she's constantly educating, inspiring, and spreading positivity. Plus, her adorable dogs are an added bonus! Jaclyn deserves all the recognition in the world. Finding my veins isn't easy, but she never gives up. She stays patient, determined, and always succeeds. Beyond her incredible nursing skills, she's one of the most attentive people I've ever met. She constantly checks in to make sure I'm comfortable, asking if I need water, a blanket, a pillow, or anything else to make my visit easier. She has such a calming presence and truly makes every patient feel like they're her priority. Madeleine is an absolute ray of sunshine. She brings so much positive energy into the room that you can't help but smile when you see her. She's upbeat, encouraging, and has that fun, big-sister personality that instantly makes you feel comfortable. She's amazing at starting IVs, always offers helpful suggestions, and somehow makes every appointment enjoyable. Madeline's determination is on point always, she has helped so much at finding my small veins that roll. Modern Med has been a life-changing part of my health journey. After years of chronic illness and a difficult weight-loss journey, weekly IV hydration and vitamin infusions have made an incredible difference. My hair, which had become thin and was falling out rapidly, is now healthier, fuller, and growing back. My energy has improved, I'm staying hydrated, and I feel healthier overall. One of the biggest benefits is avoiding unnecessary ER visits for IV fluids. Instead, I receive compassionate, personalized care in a comfortable, welcoming environment. The nurses are gentle, especially if you're nervous about needles, and they truly go above and beyond to make every visit relaxing. The providers take time to listen, educate, and create personalized care plans instead of rushing through appointments. Their easy-to-use app, membership savings, and referral program are added bonuses.Modern Med doesn't just treat symptoms--they help patients take control of their health. I feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for every time I visit, and I trust this team completely. Every visit reminds me that healthcare can be compassionate, personal, and empowering. If you're looking for a team that genuinely cares about helping you become the healthiest version of yourself, I cannot recommend Modern Med enough. They have changed my life in more ways than I ever expected, and I will always be grateful for everything they've done for me!! Thank you to everyone!!!
