I went here for a 2 day course in CPR/AED training and standard first aid. No one wants to go to…read morethese things (well, I guess unless you are going voluntarily), and I was no different. I was not looking forward to going to this class, but I had to for a job I am starting. I had 2 different instructors over the 16 hours of instruction. I wish we had had the same one for both days, because just when you get comfortable with one, they do the old switcheroo. The quality of the materials and the mannequins were pretty good and the instructors seemed knowledgeable enough. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a course in CPR or first aid. My only big complaint? The tests we have to do at the end are referred to as a "written opportunity" and they did not have a passing mark for the test. I wish they were a little more strict on this policy, because in the end, you are working with people's lives here. There was only 1 or 2 people in my class of 15 that I would trust to perform first aid on me. Everyone else didn't seem to absorb the material, but they were still given the certificate. A little disappointing to say the least. But, like I said, if you have to get certified for work, come here. Prices are amazing too ($110 for CPR/AED/Standard first aid training (16hours).

Excellent experience. My instructor Telly was very engaging and kept the Fall Arrest course moving…read moreat a good pace. Definitely recommend Spectrum Safety Services. I don't write many reviews but felt Telly and Spectrum deserved a shout out.

I Safety in Sherwood Park And Fort Mckay is a real joke. They called me for a job at komatsu in…read moreFort Mac on Sept.20th 2018. Left Sherwood Park at 1pm and they expected me to be in Fort Mac at 4 pm driving a fully loaded down truck to do drug and alcohol test. They had me working before I even did my D&A testing. Supervision called me 5 times just on the way there. They were so unorganized that it took 3 days just to get started. I was forced to work with a person who had absolutely no industrial work experience or certification at all. my man lift operator had 1 arm, was epileptic with copd. I feared for my life every time I was in man lift with him, I had mentioned this to staff several times and even left job 3 times only to be called back by staff with promises that never happened. we never had materials, we had to fill up compressor with diesel fuel 3 times everyday with improper gloves. never had a spotter or equipment watch as he was always gone. got sent home by komatsu because compressor and blasting unit kept freezing up and isafety staff would not listen or resolve issues, promised lots of stuff through jay bit none of it has paid off. now being called unstable because of their mistakes. being forced to go to osha and court to resolve matter now. they use u and throw u away like trash. and this place is suppose to be a safety company, THEY DONT HAVE A SINGLE CLUE WHICH IS WHAT WE WILL FIND OUT IN COURT SOON.
