This company is top notch…read more The staff are extremely knowledgeable and you can ask anything from jumping out of helicopters to fight forest fires to operating a grader and they will have the answer. This was great because I have met far too many safety instructors with just some courses under their belt and little experience to share. The facility is very well set up with forklift tracks, scaffolding and everything else you could need INDOORS. In short, the prices are good value, the staff are great, and the facility is top notch. A great experience and I hope to be back.

I have taken the course before at St John Ambulance, Red Cross and the American Heart Association. Of all of them, this one by far is not only the most educational but also fun . The instructor ( Sunny ) was a great instructor in the class - she relates a lot of stories as a way to remember how to apply the necessary first aid. Although the majority of the class were there for re-certification, we went through the material in a timely manner and she made sure we understood the topics. By day 2 there was only two of us so the day went quickly. Sunny reviewed the materials and prepped us for the big test. although the cost of the course is slightly higher , it is well worth going there for your first aid / CPR . Highly recommend to go here instead of downtown or west end if you live on the southside. Located at Milbourne Mall , so there is plenty of parking.

As a medical professional who has taken many different courses from MANY agencies, I highly…read morerecommend Saving Grace. It's not a surprise that many people dread first aid. It's long, it's bland, and it forces you to partner up with someone, this makes me totally anxious and I freeze. How many times have you gone home and completely forgotten about everything you've learned? Most likely, often. This is one of the only courses that I've retained 100% of the content, felt accomplished, and didn't walk away with a complaint, (besides it being a little cold bring a sweater!) My registration was spontaneous and it was handled perfectly. Jason had an answer to my questions, great sense of humour, and personal EMS stories that really helped connect topics. There's no "cutting corners" here. What there is, is a condensed first aid course that gets to the important techniques. This leaves out unnecessary information, and makes the skills the forefront. The videos are hokey, but they get to the point. They're diverse as well. Clean office, I didn't feel like advertisements were shoved in my face, and most of the class had laughter and engaging conversation. Doesn't hurt that the teach is easy to look at either if ya know what I mean.

My paycheques bounced all the time. I'm not sure what any of them did all day, I think I was the only one who actually tried to work. One time when they had a "runway class" and the instructor never showed up they asked me to teach it. I was a receptionist, and had never even attempted a runway walk. "They won't know the difference." I was told. I don't know what they are up to now, but I wouldn't trust them based on my experience. So many thumbs down.

This "business" should not be trusted by anyone. My family learnt that the Hard way. We signed…read moreour daughter up for Modeling with Serene. We were verbally sold on their product and service. Serene did tell us that we had the choice to use our own photographer for portfolio photos, but if we used their service, and pay their price which is higher than anyone else ($895 + GST), our daughter would receive additional photo shoots at no charge while she is registered with them. After doing some research, it did seem like a good deal on their end, if we got several photo shoots at their price compared to 1 photo shoot at with another photographer. Since we signed up and paid over 3 months ago, we tried to contact several times to receive these photos, but each time got the run around. We have contacted several people included Better Business Bureau. Since then, all we have got was a false promise to call us back the next day, then 3 days later, we received low quality, unfinished photos with "not for reproduction" in red writing through the middle of each picture. It appears that to avoid any legal action, they have sent us what they figure will fill their obligation. However, who pays a low quality, unfinished photo with writing??? and waits over 3 months to get them? Each time we have phoned them, they had no clue who we were, and no indication that they were trying to solve any issues, as each time we started from the beginning again. The Office had to talk to the Photographer then told us to talk to the photographer, then the photographer told us to talk to reception. We did not sign our daughter up to "Be famous", we signed her up for a hobby but we have realized that our money that spent between the "registration fee" and "photo shoot" were a waste of money, as this business seems to only care about taking peoples money and providing any services or products that they tell you they are going to provide. A company that does value their customer and clients, do not conduct themselves in this manner. In my opinion, anyone looking to explore the modeling industry for themselves or for child SHOULD NOT go to the place.
