The school tries so hard to look diverse that they hire teachers with super thick accents or who barely speak English, and it makes learning hard. Some teachers even tell students they'll fail in life just because they can't handle them. There's also a serious drug problem in the high school that no one really talks about. Sports can be fun but also really toxic, and some coaches definitely play favorites. And teachers get way too involved in student relationships, making weird comments and texting about it in group chats. If you want a normal high school experience, Awty's probably not it.

Because of the age gap in our kids, we've experienced almost every classroom and can whole heartedly say that everyone there is amazing. The teachers are very loving and work hard to provide a well rounded curriculum from an early age. Our daugther is know school age and loves the after school program (which they pick her up from school as part of the tuition). During the summer she is enrolled full time and we have been SUPER impressed with the summer schedule of events for the school age kids. They have gotten to take some pretty amazing field trips as well as have some very cool on campus experiences. We can't thank CC enough for all the steps they took to continue to provide childecare to essential workers (which both me and my husband are) during the heart of the pandemic.
