The teaching staff are professional and very attentive to the needs of the students. Our girls are enjoying their experiences at St. Jerome as the other students there have been friendly and supportive for the most part. My wife and I also appreciate that the principal, administrators and teaching staff all communicate regularly via e-mail and take-home announcements for the benefit of the parents. Tuition is expensive and there are also quite frequently solicitations for donations for this program or that but, being a private catholic school one has to expect these things to some degree. The quality of the education our students are receiving easily surpasses most public schools in the area, and the environment of discipline and adherence to codes of ethical and moral behaviors such as practiced at Saint Jerome's makes for a much better option compared to a public school, in our opinions.

They service newborn-K, and my daughter started attending when she was about 20 months old and has been there for 2 years. The school is great, not too big with wonderful, caring teachers, staff, and administrators. Leaving my daughter for the first time was hard, but the loving and caring teachers made our first real experience of leaving my daughter in the care of others as easy as possible. They take great care of my daughter, teaching her valuable life skills (potty training! Skipping! Sharing with friends!) as well as preparing her for school with pre-reading skills, counting, and even Spanish classes for 3+ year olds. I love how involved I can be with the teachers and my daughter's class, and they have lots of excellent activities and "fun days" in addition to the regular learning. Small class sizes, reasonable tuition and loving, accessible teachers and administrators make Clay Road our go-to recommendation to all our friends with kids looking for childcare options. Definitely check them out!

I must say Houston is known fur their Large Scale Churches which includes Lakewood Church. If Lakewood was an Asian church this would fit the bill. This church like Lakewood really big and can fit a lot of people. I like how there are plenty of seats available. There may not be a lot better of rows like Lakewood but I had no trouble finding a seat. For years, I've been having good relationships with Asian churches and I must declare the service here are really good. I had no trouble hearing the sermon. They are really motivating and clear. In terms of parking there is plenty to go around with. This church is even close to my hotel in Houston. I don't have to drive so much just to come here. Visitors or locals, take the time to come here

Meta Community is for the adult and working professional (equivalent to Sunday School for grown-ups), and there are yearly retreats for youth, men, or adult groups. The church caters to primarly the West side of Houston, but folks from all around the city join. Baptism classes are scheduled every few weeks and me and my best buddy Allen were baptized by Pastor David Hsu. After church activities include chinese tutoring...I had years of that and I'm glad I had the cultural learning.

Dr. Cosby is first and foremost a teacher. A very good and knowledgable teacher. He really does try to give understanding of what is in the Bible. Not his own interpretations but the word "For the Bible says" (he says that a lot) "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves." Matthew 7:15 NIV Those of you that appreciate studying the word will love Service as well as Bible study (wednesday). The several wonderful choirs (Hanq is the minister of music), programs for youth, elderly, families, singles, young adults etc. if you can't make it watch online, download podcasts, buy tapes at the bookstore. There are so many ways to get yourself secured in the word of God. There are many things to help you not only in your spiritual journey but also the realities of life. I have taken theology in school for many years and this church just helps to increase my understanding. That's what people of faith should strive for...not to know all that is divine but to have knowledge of what is true about God and what is corruption of the Word. Know Him for yourself not what someone else has told you to be the truth. This church offers that guidance to get you there.

This is where Jesus is lifted up always. Even though the church has a large membership and growing, there are 4 services, so the effort has been made for all to attend. There is bible study, many programs to help with everyday life. The ushers and greeters are friendly. I would recommend this church if you want to grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. AND, if you want to learn the bible,, the truth of God's word. I pray the Lord continues to bless this wonderful body of Christians, led by William Lawson, Pastor emeritus and Dr. Cosby, the Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church. Pastor Cosby and others have strived to make this a warm and friendly church environment and a great help to the community, also.

The receptionist once cited her own made up "11th Commandment," to justify not allowing me to pick up my own child. The school now claims I am my son's grandpa for some reason. I found errors in this year's student/parent handbook then I looked at last years and found the same errors so they're obviously copying and pasting each year and not checking anything. They excluded me from being an emergency contact and when I finally got access to the medical records they have on file for my son I found critical errors regarding his most serious allergic reaction. To fix the error all that was needed was to change 1 word on a 1 page document. It's been 4 months since I brought their error to their attention and have yet to receive confirmation that they fixed it and just today after finding out they refer to me as my son's grandfather my son's teacher dm's me telling me wtf she doesn't appreciate. This is a religious school and in the handbook the first mention of "God," is literally a disclosure that informs you that you won't get your tuition money back if an act of "God" shuts down the school. I think the Devil might be the Principal.
