Lilly, the owner of this store is one of the many reasons I continuously come back for my dry cleaning! As a woman, one of the most heartbreaking things (even worst than a breakup in my opinion) we endure is seeing a stain on a blouse that we paid an insane amount of money on. Sure, we can lie to ourselves and say the silk blouse we were eyeing was on sale at Saks (it wasn't, but we look gorgeous in it so deal with it) and it was going to be out of stock, thus somehow we didn't stop our hand from grabbing our wallet and walking out of Saks with a new blouse and possibly $200.00 poorer, and now a stain. A. STAIN. THAT. CANNOT. BE. WASHED. Lo' and behold, this is where this amazing owner aka my savior arrives. She goes above and beyond for me and my wardrobe. I somehow have an obsession with white button downs and a love affair with silk so if any stains happen, I'm the first to call her and she, like a doctor being paged to see a patient that is coding out of the blue, Lilly takes one look at whatever stain and assures me it'll be gone and giving me an estimate of when to come pick it up. Her prices are so reasonable and with the amazing work and care that goes into business, I'm surprised she doesn't charge more. I only go to her store and don't plan going elsewhere! read more

Dry cleaning services are fine but very disappointed in the turn around time for alterations. The starting point is a week for hemming a single pair of pants ???? I recommend going somewhere else for clothing alterations. I guess they outsource the alterations. But to where? Must be out of the country given the lengthy turnaround times. BK read more

I don't often get things dry cleaned, but had a few back-to-back interviews and needed to freshen up my suit in between. A friend recommended this place to me, and it's super close to my apartment, so I stopped by. The suit had some deodorant stains that were difficult to clean after the first wash. The owner, however, was able to send the suit back for a second cleaning to make it look brand new! I was super happy with the results, but I had to dock a star because I was not told that the suit had been sent back until I stopped in to pick it up. A heads-up would have been nice for my planning. read more

Saint James does wonderful dry cleaning as well as repair work. I do not send my cleaning anywhere else, once I found out about them! The repair work, when I have requested that they do that, is done so well, I cannot tell that a garment was repaired. read more

I got dry cleaning done, as well as a tailoring job done on a pair of suit pants. When I dropped off the clothes, I was shown on the receipt where the tailoring cost should have been. It read "$0.00" and the woman said "no charge". I thought this was nice, since her charge of $6 per garment seemed to be on the high end. I was told they would be ready by the weekend, but they were not. I called back midway through the following week and the pants were still not ready. 5 days after the original date I should have been picking them up (and after a number of phone calls) my pants were ready. I went to pick them up only to find out that "no charge" actually means, "I don't know what the charge will be" (it turned out to be $25, which we eventually negotiated down a bit due to the lateness). Maybe as a dry cleaning service this place is more reliable, but I didn't have a great experience and will try somewhere else next time. read more

They have supported the cops for years and I know for a fact they love them and have done so much work for them. Why someone would try to lie and hurt them is beyond especially in this time. The lady in charge is nice but awful at her job. She regularly forgets instructions, causes delays after promising a certain delivery time, and then charges for it anyway. Gave her my jacket to repair and told her it didn't need dry-cleaning; she "fixed" some part of it that wasn't torn, left the torn part as it was, and then dry-cleaned it and told me she had to charge me for that too. read more
