I am literally BLOWN AWAY by the amazing customer service, the quick delivery and of course the GORGEOUS arrangement! I had a terrible snafu with a different florist that a friend recommended, that I didn't know was a wholesale place and they cancelled my order two hours before all florist shops would be closing, saying they tried to deliver but I never received a call?! We walked in out of the blue and asked for a $40 arrangement to bring to a friend's winery. It took about 30-40 mins and we walked out with a beautiful fall arrangement. The store is somewhat hard to find. Our map led us to a different place. It is located past the train tracks away from the Main Street. It is next to Safeway and a pharmacy. read more

St, Helena Florist created a stunningly beautiful spray for my husband's funeral. I requested something woodsy and asked if his uniform hat could be included. Our daughter wanted some white roses. Heather and Sylvia made it all come together in the most natural way. The highlight was a stem of deep coral orchids that drew attention to the white hat. They also arranged lovely bouquets for the church altar and provided perfect white rose boutonnieres for the pallbearers and single stem white roses for the family. They delivered to the church, and afterwards stored the spray overnight to keep it fresh for delivery to the graveside service the next day. I was looking to surprise my parents with flowers for their anniversary getaway in Calistoga. First I tried Teleflora and FTD and the fees were so high or you had to spend a certain amount to qualify for delivery. Thanks to Yelp I found St. Helena florist and they have a great online ordering system and the delivery fee was only $10 (vs $14.99 for FTD). I wrote an email just asking if I was doing something wrong and they said they didn't know why they died so quickly but they stand behind their product and sent me a beautiful NEW bouquet the next day. Customer service not good. We wanted to order a plant to be sent to someone. They said it was not available, but would call us back the next day after checking to see about getting one, (why they don't have items in stock that appear on their web page is beyond us). Never got a call back on the plant. Then tried to order an arrangement to be sent to a family, and you can't put two names in the "first name" space, or put "and family" in the next line. We want it sent to the family, not just one person. Businesses need to call a customer back, when they say they will, and their Web page needs to be fixed. I'm getting a beautiful bouquet at a grocery store, for $20, and delivering it myself. Saving over $45. read more

Ordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day, referencing a specific arrangement on their website. They acknowledged the one I wanted, and my additional requests. What was delivered was nothing like what I had requested, in style or in color. I called to find out what went wrong, and discovered there was apparently a mis-communication somewhere. These things happen, and all I was looking for was acknowledgement of what happened and for them to be aware, but instead the employee that answered was quite dismissive of my communication asking "what would you like us to do?" as she laughed at me. What I would like is more appropriate customer service. Eventually they did offer to send the correct arrangement and pick up the incorrect one, but it was a painful phone call prior to that point. After explaining the above situation in an email to them, I have not received a response, so unfortunately I have to write this review pointing this out. They do good work, but be sure when you are done ordering you have them recite your order back to you before assuming they got it right. 4 stars on quality of work 1 star on customer service Please learn from your mistakes. read more

I ask for seasonal food-related things to be included, and it's always a cool display; artichokes, asparagus, ornamental kale, even kumquats down in the base of the vase. I ordered an $80 bouquet to be delivered to a friend and specifically asked not to have certain flowers in the bouquet because I know my friend is allergic to those. I visited my friend the next day after she got out of the hospital and saw the flowers. I was appalled at not only how they looked just shy of a $40 bouquet AND to boot sure enough there were flowers that my friend is allergic to in the arrangement. Maybe an $80 arrangement isn't designed like it used to be! I will not be back. read more

Unfortunately, after several attempts, I was unable to find a florist who was willing to provide me with this quick delivery. Much to my relief, I happened upon the good people at St. Helena Florist. Not only were they willing to make a delivery in Calistoga, but they managed to do it within an hour of my order! When the arrangement arrived, it was as beautiful as advertised. Gorgeous and Very Easy to work with! I was married in Napa Valley October 2013 and because I am from Louisiana I was forced to put my full trust in multiple vendors. Roy from St. Helena florist was AMAZING! He took the anxiety out of that aspect of planning. Roy's ideas were right on with mine. For me St. Helena florist provided arrangements for my Bridal Luncheon at Farmstead, our rehearsal dinner at Tra Vigne, our Wedding ceremony in the courtyard at V. Sattui, as well as decorated the entire barrel room at V. Sattui for my reception. I had ordered an arrangement to be sent to my ex in laws at the death of their son. I ordered on the phone I spent $99.00 including the delivery fee. I needed to go grocery shopping and since they are nxt. door to Safeway, I decided to pop in to see the flowers before they were delivered I was shocked very small and I felt it was nothing like I had asked for at all!!! I think the gal was surprised to see me!! I should have spent $50.00 at Safeway I could have gotten a Huge Outstanding arrangement!! I felt like Wow $99.00 should buy something other than small and insignificant!!! The flowers I ask for were to be a spring pastel arrangement!!
