    Lol. Convenient dish for stuff

Great find in downtown St Helena! An eclectic mix of garden & unique home fun type gifts. From gorgeous fake plant/flowers and upscale gardening items to puzzles of antique butterfly collections to the human bone anatomy, this store has the perfect gift for your gardening gift enthusiast or anyone who wants to brighten up their home. Puzzles are very unique and perfect for covid homebodies who are looking for the latest in-home adventure. I loved the humor of things like the "where the f*^% is my mask" dishes for holding masks, keys and anything else you need handy by the door. #pandemicversary #kokoapproved #acresstore #sthelenanapa

Absolutely love this store, the owner and staff. Fabulous selection of high end home decor and outdoor needs. Have shopped here a couple times when in the area. This year I found the most adorable Halloween decorations. The store was so helpful in helping me ship several pieces to AZ. Went so far as to drive my items to the shipping store. Love my decor so much I called and ordered two other pieces. Cannot say enough about how wonderful everyone is at Acres! Thank you! May have to make an annual trip to shop at your amazing store!

Most shops located on Main Street in downtown St. Helena are crowded with 'stuff' that is overpriced even for a tourist town. It was a nice surprise to find this store chuck-a-block with interesting things (a 'go slow so you don't miss something' store as my friend calls places like this) with Napa Valley-ish prices but still not over the top given the quality. Splendidly well merchandised with things for home, many of which have a 'bring the outside inside' garden theme. Things for table top (dishware and things to tablescape), bath (luxurious soaps), book shelf (the book "Holy Shit" on the use of manure in gardening made me chuckle at the title), and kitchen (cookbooks and serving pieces) and more like fragrant candles and quality silk florals and even a weathervane. All this merchandise yet with enough room provided in the aisles ways that it is easy and fun to look at everything tucked here and there. Our visit was during the Chanukah and Christmas shopping season and I found some gift items for both. The hostess behind the counter was pleasant if cooly reserved. If you enter expecting "I'm glad you're shopping here" reception you may be disappointed. A number of things called out 'take me home' but my car was too full of wine to fit them in. Maybe next time. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: This is one of the few St. Helena stores that would be worth the hassle of parking downtown to make a repeat visit. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and just enough room in the aisleways to be ADA compliant for wheelchair access. Probably best to leave strollers outside..

    Framed Duck wings

We went on our yearly trip to Napa and came across this store. What a great surprise when I walked inside to browse all the treasures inside the store. I was checking out with my purchases and saw this beautiful print of wings that were absolutely amazing. After asking about the artist and if the print was available for purchase, the cashier directed to me to where they were and I just had to have the larger print for my new home that I recently purchased. It was my lucky day as they were able to procure the large print 44"x 58", they packaged it in a cylinder for transportation ( as we were flying). Once we moved into our home I took the print to be framed and when I went to pick it up I had quite a few people wanting to know where I purchased it. The shop put it out on display and had multiple offers from customers wanting to purchase If your looking for unique and different item for your household you must stop by to browse.

By far my favorite decor shop ever, two concrete pears came home this year

Acres never fails me... so on our recent trip it was a must. So much to choose from in my aesthetic... I came with an open mind, and left with a pair of concrete pears!! They are the perfect addition to my Farmhouse Industrial decorated home. LOVE!

Last month I bought my fave blanket I've ever owned and I'm trying to find it. It is large throw, very soft, small rosebuds all over, neutral rose taupe and it was $190. No label except for 100% polyester. Can you pls tell me the brand? Thank u.

Flowers are expensive, the work is tedious, and not everyone can simply put a bouqet together and make it look incredible. From the moment we met, I knew she was an expert and I didnt need to keep searching for a wedding florist. She is well experienced and knowledgable about everything from color placement, types of flowers, what is required for the actual venue, and what flowers should be used because they smell so wonderful. She was extremely friendly, a very sweet lady that is worth giving the time to. She was quick to respond to emails and inquiries I had. She is a busy woman, this is her livelyhood so I knew not expect an instantaneous call back. On our wedding day the bouquets were already in place. Gorgeous colorful flowers, they smelled so lovely. They were exactly how she spelled them out in the itemized contract. She has the amazing ability to make the colors colide with out looking spotty, which she promised. I was not sure of what I wanted to do with my bouqet after the wedding. The expected moves of a military bride let me know that surely the dried up flowers would look dishoveled before long, we decided she was right when she told us flowers are to be enjoyed while alive. Its hard to part with such a beautiful arrangement the one you carry while marrying the man of your dreams. Me and my husband did it though the day after the wedding. I wouldnt just throw it in the trash, for me it a part of me for some reaons.. We broke apart the flowers one by one as sort of a ceremony, gathered the petals and took a simple picture. It was something unique, something for us to have. She is the best, look no further.. book her early because she is worth having as a vendor.

Their inventory is dominated by your typical cultivars of philodendrons, anthuriums, pothos, etc. Most of these plants are widely available at garden centers and other plant stores. Even the carnivorous plants and staghorn fern they had are varieties I've commonly seen elsewhere. They also carry spray painted tillandsias, a practice I dislike because it obscures the plant's natural appearance and is something I generally associate with novelty retail rather than horticulture. I visited hoping to find some unique specimens, such as uncommon orchids, metallic leaved begonias, rocklike pseudolithos, or other harder to find collector plants. Casual indoor plant owners would probably find this store adequate, but I'd recommend those looking specifically for rare or unusual plants to skip this place. Update: Soon after writing this review I got a very emotionally charged message from the owner who mentioned that my review is a "public dig" and asked "Is it your goal to damage a women owned and run small business?". It leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I leave an honest respectful review (all I did was highlight who this store would be good for!) and I get a response like that. Especially ending in her saying "I hope you have a better day than I now will have". It's all very unprofessional.

They quoted a price of $300 minimum and refused to acknowledge that I wanted pretty basic things- just the color scheme for a bouquet , mini bouquet and two boutonnières. I'm so glad I decided to call St. Helena Florist because they came in at the price I asked for and delivered beautiful florals in the color scheme I wanted.
