It seems like 99 times out of 100 I can get the item cheaper at Menard's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, or on-line. The grilled peach is a brilliant invention, expertly prepared for the second year in a row, and I'm not sure how many points should be taken off for something that isn't part of the day-to-day activities. But I don't want an $8 beverage that's 50% Gold Peak, especially from a place with farm-to-table vibes. I don't think state fair drinks have to be exclusively made with filtered rainwater from Grand Marais, but let customers choose whether to pay extra for the good stuff or just get a Pepsi.

I think this is also a nice spot if you're looking for a gift, they've got some novelty things like stickers, mugs, and dish towels. Staff is always nice and there is no credit card minimum.
