As far as proximity the two business interchange stations flank Bay station to the east and west (St. George, Bloor-Yonge) and they're not that far from one another. I had to actually use Bay station the other night as it's probably my least used station in the core. Both line 1 on the University or Yonge lines wasn't stopping at either Bloor station (St. George or Bloor-Yonge) due to a police investigation around 11pm on May 24th, 2019. Inconvenient right? It's a bit of a walk from Wellesley to Bay station but it had to be done. The only bus route connecting to this station is a transfer required board which is route 6 (Bay). The top of the route starts at Dupont and Davenport not that far from Casa Loma in fact it's not far from Dupont station. The route travels south along Davenport to Bay and south on Bay all the way to Queens Quay before turning left (east) where it eventually loops around at Lower Sherbourne by the FedEx downtown depot. On the Belair Street side entrance just next door is a business called DECIEM The Abnormal Beauty Company. They want you to know that their business is NOT BAY. The thing about Davisville is it's the closest station to the TTC HQ as well. You'd think they'd make it less humble than it is but no frills I suppose. There's 4 bus routes that are transferable or connect to Davisville and they're: 14 - Glencairn 11 - Bayview 28 - Bayview South 97 - Yonge The 14 runs west from Davisville along Chaplin to Bathurst and heads west along Glencairn crossing the other side of Line 1 at Glencairn station continuing west past Marlee and Dufferin and turns south on Lansdown and west along Tycos before turning north on Caledonia and running back east along Glencairn back towards Davisville. The 11 runs east on Davisville to Bayview and turns north and does a turn near Sunnybrook hospital and continues north through the Bridal Path area and crosses the Sheppard Line at Bayview station and continues north past Finch to Steeles before turning around. The 28 runs east on Davisville and south on Bayview on the east side of Mt Pleasant cemetery through Leaside and south along the windy part of Bayview by the Don Valley and towards the Evergreen Brick Works at the east side of Rosedale. The 97A follows Yonge to York Mills from Davisville. The 97B follows the same route as A but also goes as far south as Queens Quay and the 97C goes as north as Steeles.

I grew up taking the TTC with my mom to hit Chinatown at Spadina and Dundas Street West. Back then, it was the Spadina 77 bus that ran along Spadina Avenue to and from this subway station. When you leave any line 2 train, you can still see a bus image next to the station name on the platform. I also managed to see several pay phones on the subway platform, which threw me back. In my head, I had Spadina Bus, a song by The Shuffle Demons, playing on repeat as I was at this station. A classic! I may need to find the video version to reminisce about the original 77 bus. Spadina is a subway hub. I went up a set of stairs from line 2 to catch the 510 Spadina streetcar. Back in November 2024, this streetcar wasn't running. Instead, there were 510 buses. Well, I got to ride the streetcar at long last. It was waiting for me at the station. I had no problem finding a seat and taking it down to Bremner Boulevard. I then walked over to Rogers Centre. It was convenient and easy. After the game, it was weird seeing three 510 streetcars heading northbound i a cluster as I walked towards Spadina Avenue. When I got to the streetcar stop, I waited a good fifteen minutes before the next streetcar came. Some things never change. I don't get TTC schedules. Never did. Never will. This subway station is wheelchair-accessible. I saw an elevator as I was heading to the streetcar platform. This station also connects you to line 1 (Yonge-University-Spadina). Up and down Spadina ave the dedicated street car platform splits the streets north and south bound directions. There are fare purchase systems for TTC/Presto on these street platforms but it's not like they're gated or anything like that. I've seen so many people get on without necessarily tapping or paying unless they had a transfer already... hard to say and none of my business. Many years later, I am still traumatized by the experience just remembering living through such blatant discrimination and hostility in Toronto on a PUBLIC transit system. I still remember how NO ONE defended me or urged the driver to drive and not waste their time. All the passengers just sat there quietly as this unhinged man targeted and harassed me with impunity! I was so young and naive back then and only left this lone review on the bus's yelp page... years after it occurred (face palm). I don't believe I even left a TTC complaint! Urggh! If this had happened today, a Human Rights Complaint would be absolutely MINIMUM. Poor young me. I wish I could stop beating myself up in HINDSIGHT and instead, imagine giving her a hug and guiding her hand. She REALLY needed that. She was so horrified, hurt, confused, humiliated, and felt so alone. Here it goes: "75 Sherbourne Bus A few days ago, a TTC driver profiled and harassed a poor woman on a Queen streetcar going East, kicking her off the bus for no reason. This brought back memories. Turns out, you can review buses on yelp so here it goes: Years ago, I was profiled by a TTC driver(s) on a Northbound Sherbourne bus going into Rosedale and I had a metropass!! This happened at the Bloor/Sherbourne bus stop going north. He (they) obviously didn't think a POC had any business being in that area and took it upon himself (themselves) to harass me. It happened twice! I don't know if they were told to do this in that area since I'm not sure it was the same person. The first time, he just stopped me from boarding and drove off. It happened so quickly! Didn't get a good look at him. Took me a minute to realize what just happened since everyone else was allowed to board. Second time, I just walked right on and showed my metropass. Driver refused to drive. Asked me where exactly I was going and started yelling, SCREAMING at me to get off the bus. I just quietly sat there. No one on the bus came to my defense. He called the cops then called his own TTC people to complain while waiting for the cops to get me. His TTC people yelled at him to drive off, asking what he was doing. He stayed put. When the cops that he called were approaching, he finally drove off. The memory is still so unpleasant years later. This woman's experience juggled it. I wish I filed a complaint then but I definitely filed a complaint now on her behalf because it is not ok that this is still happening in 2018. It is not ok that people should feel anxiety about using the TTC, never knowing if today is the day they get profiled/harassed by a TTC staff on a power trip. You can never get used to racism. It's always a shock. I sincerely hope the TTC finally takes this behaviour very seriously because the fact that it is still happening is saying otherwise."

Needless to say, I called them to voice my concerns and Joe (manager, owner?) assured me that the reviews are 90% fake, and that I would receive good service. BIG MISTAKE! The driver was disgusting and disheveled. He was late to pick up by husband, then he almost took my husbands arm off by backing the car into a tree when the door was open. He was extremely late for every other pick up, and decided not to show up for several of them. When I spoke to Joe to voice everything that had gone wrong on the day, he was unprofessional, and basically called me a liar. I sent him several screen shots of text, and emails to prove that the driver was late for every pick up and I never heard back. When I followed up several days later via email, Joe called me during the work day. I said I couldnt speak and to respond to my email.
