Found something similar to what I had in mind but wasn't in stock. Barb brought out a catalog and helped me piece together exactly what I had envisioned for a dining room set, with extra side chairs. Was told perhaps an eight week wait as this was custom ordered and put down half for a deposit. Two weeks later, she called to let me know it was in. They open it all up, checked for condition, all ok. Scheduled delivery. we live rural and they were right on time. Two older gentlemen carried in, set up, checked over, made one adjustment to a chair. Very respectful. 100% happy with everything.

As a woman and trying to handle the situation, because of Jim's heart attack, has not gone very well. I have been talked to like I was stupid, huge mistake by them and then laughed in my face by the Vice President of the company Steve. They are not sure, but believe that the windows are missing felt. I was told that it would take 2 weeks to get felt stripping in. I did tell him that I could get it quicker from Amazon, he laughed in my face and told me atinotes were not going to get me any where. Well, I can tell you this, they may not, but this story can. Like Jimmy said, he thinks he is not expendable and news flash you are. The big box stores eating at your door step and this how you treat people???? How many more Lowes and Menerards until you are gone?? Try and help the little guy out and this is how you get treated. This is only half of how we have been treated. I can only imagine how the women employees are treated in the store. OH, and YES that is ICE, on the inside of my windows!!! The "felt" was finally delivered, only to be some kind of plastic stripping. Has anyone called about installing it???? Nope!! So, when purchasing windows be very careful. This would not be an issue had we purchased them from Lowes!!! Hope you find the humor in this "Steve" !!!! Because I have plastic over brand new windows!!!! My first contact with Jen was September 24, after 3 emails and several voice mails, she finally responded to me on October 5. I responded the following day and am still waiting for further communication (actually I am no longer waiting, I will take my business elsewhere). If you are looking to get your project completed in timely manner, this is NOT the place to go. I went to K&D Countertops and received a bid the same day. It was so nice to have everything under one roof. Angie was so helpful and supportive of my diy projects. They even made me a custom table runner. When my friends come to town The Painted Home is our first stop. We always find something. I never make it out of there without a silly card or two. I recently redid some cabinets and Angie suggested milk paint. I had never used it but she assured me it would be easy. It was.
