I bought a used Orbea Rise that was advertised as "Bike has been meticulously maintained and was just detailed, full tune up, bearings checked/serviced, tubeless redone..etc. The suspension is nearly new too, only a handful of rides on it as it was upgraded within the last year." That has NOT been the case with the bike I purchased. The mode switch didn't work when I received it (they did reimburse me for it), the software had to be upgraded, the hanger was broken upon arrival, and now I am missing bolts from the rear suspension. The bike has been in the shop more than it has been at my house waiting for parts. I have ridden it 3 times since buying it in August. This bike has been nothing but a headache and disappointment. read more

My technician / sales associate, CALE, did an amazing job... wait for it... LISTENING. He listened to all of my needs. We discussed options and needs, and in the end, I took home an AMAZING bike that fits my needs perfectly. Don't let this unassuming shop confuse you, the real prize is inside. Cale and his staff not only represent basically every brand of bikes, but they are hardcore cyclists themselves! They can give you real world advice and experience from riding single track dirt to the concrete jungle of St. Petersburg and Tampa. I had a very small issue with my ride, which was perhaps self-inflicted, but Cale fixed as if I was his most important customer. I brought my bike in for a tune-up after a fall. Anton said it didn't really need a tune up, but he tightened some cables and ensured it was back in safe working order. I've recently relocated to Tampa and was in desperate need of a bike and didn't want to feel like it was just a sale (like most bike shops have felt). Intended only to browse and check out the inventory and prices at this three-year-old bike shop. It is really well stocked and well organized and the prices made it impossible to leave without buying a new pump for my tires (with valves that work for both my road bike and my basic transportation bike) for $20 and a new helmet. Not a place to purchase cycling shoes or apparel but plenty of bikes, bike accessories, gloves, tires and tubes and whatever else is needed to get ready to ride. The husband and wife who own it, Andy and Jana Clark, have created a very consumer friendly place. They can service your bike and will even fill your tires with air at no cost if you happen to ride by during business hours and need a little boost. read more

This place is everything a local bike shop should be. The friendly, helpful owners obviously love running a bike shop, and employ a stellar team of congenial, skilled mechanics. They have a good variety of practical gear like panniers, gloves, seatposts, toeclips, fenders, and all the essential doo-dads like schraeder-to-presta valve shims, at very reasonable prices. They also specialize in electric bicycles (e-bikes) and so it is a great place to go if you are curious about those.They are honest and transparent here, and their goal is to turn you into a loyal customer as opposed to squeezing you for everything you've got on your first trip in to have some fenders installed. I wish it wasn't 15 miles from my house, and yet, it is so good, I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my bike serviced or buy components. These guys are great. I went in with a $500 budget (did not tell them) and explained what I was looking for. Comfortable bike, to get back and forth to the gym and to ride with my daughter. They let me test ride two bikes in my size and request style and kept me under my budget. They did not try to up sell. Very professional, very nice and very reasonable on the prices. I picked up a Fuji Crosstown 1.1 for under $500. I would definitely go back and recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality bike and a reasonable price. read more
