The interior décor looks like it hasn't been treated to a lick of paint in a while and the smell of stale beer wafted through mynose upon entering the building This is a typical pub venue that is ideal for a quick drink. Beer, food and somewhere to sit. You shouldn't need shiny decorations and glass tables to enjoy a quality drink with some grub. The staff weren't exactly friendly and the food took ages to come. read more

Came out feeling grubby, the place was filthy and the food was burnt. I for one will never go back.

This place looked great on first entering,it was busy,full off families.Queued to order food for 15 mins,shame there was only 2 ladies doing all the work and I was told the wait could be up to 40 mins for food. When our food arrived,which was 2 all day breakfast,1 chicken tikka masala and 1 child's Spagetti bolognaise,I was disappointed ,no mushrooms as stated on both breakfast and a tablespoon of beans.The chicken tikka lacked of much chicken and the Spagetti was a tiny bowl,this place could be great with a bit more effort but until then I'd rather get food that's been cooked and displayed that looks appetising read more

Unfortunately, I've only ever used this pub for locality reasons. It's very close to where I live, so it's a handy place to stop by for a drink with friends. Other than this, I find my experiences in the pub very dull and boring ones, especially without masses of friends sitting inside. The walls and carpets are dark and gloomy, and the atmosphere lacks any customer vibrancy. During week time, you'll often be the only people having a drink inside. Drink prices are fairly expensive, and for limited selection, you'd expect to pay cheaper. I bought lambs dark rum (the only rum they have other than Barcadi) and coke for £3.10, which I find a little over priced. The staff are, and always have been, quite cold and frosty. A lot of them don't even ask what you want, or crack a smile, they just stare at you as if you're making the place look untidy. If you want to make money, the workers should at least make customers feel welcomed. (In fact, I think new staff should be hired) The garden fence has also been broken and fallen down for years now. Nice large pub loads of room. Good 2 for 1 menu well priced with good meals. Locals pub gets buys weekends. Has live footy to do cant be bad . Live bands also end of the month om fridayd read more
