I'm not too sure about this pub anymore; it used to be somewhere I went when I was first of the legal age to drink, but now, I feel a little unwelcomed by the clicky clientele, who all see to know each other. If you can find a seat in the smaller back room, its much better, more relaxed and out of the way of everybody else. Also, you don't have to queue up for a drink for ages in the main room, because there's a small bar in the other room too.
Apart from the punters, the pub itself isn't especially different or unusual inside or out. It's pretty standard to most other pubs, and I only really use the joint if I'm just after one pint, or if I'm shopping locally. There are also two outdoor areas, which are great to utilise in the summer if you're with a lot of friends/family. These areas are probably the best thing about the pub. read more
