They had a good variety of items and their prices were quite reasonable for thrift. They have specials based on day of the week / today was 50% off glass. The people running the place are lovely - kind, easygoing and attentive. One saw me struggling to carry my items, went and got me a cart. Proceeds benefit Veterans. I found a cute kaleidoscope - not vintage but still beautiful colors and patterns for 3$-I also noticed a super cool paperweight in the case and the guy was kind to let me see it. He informed me that it was 25% off. It was reminiscent of one my grandmother had and I really liked the murano glass look to it. I've seen these priced at 20-22 elsewhere. I got this for 12$. It was priced at 15 with 25% discount. Definitely a lot to see here and I would certainly go back on a rainy seashore day. I recommend this business. The only thing that was off-putting was the girl at the register was screwing around on her cell phone as I stood right in front of her. A coworker had to nudge her to ring me up. She apologized for being inattentive.

I really want to rate this store a sort of 3.5 or a 4 minus. We really like going here and do find…read morenice things . But despite a nice variety of items, the prices can be high. I was very disappointed in the childrens clothing. They can only sell what they get donated but I noted condition issues and not much available in some sizes. I thought many of the items should have been on rack of 50 cent items because of the heavy wear of the items. Specialty items like nice gift items, vintage and antique items have antique shop prices not thrift shop. Maybe they need the high prices to support their location costs and their charity support. But there are very few deals. However they have a few racks of $1 items and clearance, and we've picked up several great deals hidden away on these racks. I have also found some nice shoes on my visits. I like this thrift shop but I agree with other reviews about prices. I did see a dress from a designer I know gets $200 new for a dress retail that was $20 in this store, but the dress itself was going to be looking for that one buyer who would look good in the dress. Just because a dress is designer doesn't make it valuable if no one wants it! Anyway, I think it is worth a trip and remember to bring your own bags and ask about discounts.

LOVE this place! We…read moreused to go to the 'antique' shops in Cape May because they were a jumble of odd junk and treasures and it was so much fun to go through them. But now, these places that have been there for years have become more commercial, leasing out space to individual sellers who sell on one end or the other: junk or new stuff. Then we came across this place. It's what I would call a more typical antique place with all sorts of true memorabilia, home decor and furniture. It's a house made into an antique shop (as like most of Cape May businesses - old homes made into shops, restaurants, etc.) and also shows items from various sellers, but things are displayed in a more pleasing manner. It is clean with quality items. The owners are a couple who moved from NYC and are very friendly and helpful. They are eager to assist, and their packing is most excellent for those delicate treasures you purchase and want shipped. We love talking to them each time we go, and we are pleased they recognize us when we come in. We don't even visit the shops we used to go to in Cape May anymore. This is our antique shop stop of choice every year.
