Really cute store! I loved the aesthetics and decorations! They had gorgeous dresses for prom or any other fancy event! They had some cute clothes but nothing that really caught my eye. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Victorious if you're in Cape May just to see the decor in the store, it's very girly and adorable, many sparkles! I actually googled "thrift store" in cape May and this came up, I wouldn't say it's a thrift store at all - I think the jewelry in antique though but everything else is brand new. read more

This shop is so cute and if I didn't have to run and feed the meter, I would have browsed longer and bought something. The clothes are chic and cute. I also saw candles, jewelry and purses. This is a boutique so expect boutique prices. I really enjoyed the pink exterior which makes for great photos. Two years in a row I've hit the jackpot at Victorious when looking for cocktail party dresses. I've also picked up great casual wear as bonus buys. The staff is very helpful, honest about which items should go back on the rack and which are a knockout, and enthusiastic about finding you the right items without pushing too hard. It's a boutique so you won't get Marshall's pricing, but it feels reasonable for the quality and style you get. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! My fiancée and I purchased an estate engagement ring from Victorious in February of 2023. The ring was priced at $2200.00 and they gave us a $300 discount (and charged no tax, which seemed kinda shady but we don't know the NJ tax laws) so we ended up paying $1900. The ring needed to be resized and the store clerk (who was very nice) assured us they would send the resized ring, along with a free, official appraisal within a week. After a week had gone by we called the store multiple times and left voicemails with no response. We finally got an email from Jennifer (the owner) saying they are only open on weekends and that their voicemail was not working. The ring arrived a week later but there was no appraisal included. We called the store and asked about the appraisal for insurance purposes. The person who answered the phone said "everything you need for insurance purposes is on the receipt". We asked if this meant they were not going to provide an official appraisal and the clerk repeated "everything you need is on the receipt" and abruptly hung up on us. We became a bit suspicious about their unwillingness to give us an official appraisal, so we took the ring to our local jeweler who provided an official, written appraisal (at our expense), according to which the ring was valued at $975, $1225 below the ticketed price and $925 below the purchase price. In addition, Victorious had graded the diamond as .40 carats and F-G in color, whereas our official appraisal indicated .35 carats and a full G in color. We opened a dispute with our credit card company and Victorious ultimately agreed to refund our money after we returned the ring (at our expense). We offered to bring the ring back in person but the owner refused, saying "no one authorized will be there to process the return." I don't know if our experience was an aberration, but all we can say is BUYER BEWARE! One thing we are sure of is that customer service was horrible. Indeed, if the clerk hadn't rudely hung up on us, or had the owner been more accommodating, we probably would have just let the appraisal slide and kept the ring. Hopefully Victorious will take this review seriously, improve their customer service, and not respond to this with a great big "Go F**K Yourself" as they did on a previous review here. read more

I wondered in here and feel in love and then returned with my girlfriends that really know jewelry and prices and they and I were very impressed with their selection and prices and knowledge. I wish this store was my closet. Between the amazing jewelry, hats, and Betsey Johnson dresses Victorious is a fashionista's wet dream. They have a lovely array of styles and price points to suit many tastes. I scored an adorable heart ring for $18. If my husband had not been sitting on a bench out front (store provided because they're smart) I probably would've examined every nook and cranny available. The layout, design and decor of Victorious screamed my name, and the saleswoman was top notch, placing my small purchase in a lovely box and bagging it with leopard print tissue paper. I will be back, alone, and armed with some serious spending money. read more

The Estate Jewelry store located in The Pink House is phenomenal. We were looking for vintage turquoise jewelry and vintage turquoise jewelry we found! The woman who helped us was wonderful and knowledgable. (Her name escapes me, but she is from Poland and has killer fashion sense.) She went above and beyond to let us try on anything we wanted and tell us a little about the history of the pieces themselves and jewelry in general. We ended up purchasing 2 bracelets and a ring on the spot, as well as "inspiring" her to purchase a bracelet as well! Their selection of estate jewelry is vast and they are constantly bringing in new items. If you are in Cape May for more than a few days, it is worth two trips. You will always find a treasure, even if it is to be added to a birthday/holiday wish list. Their new sister store located in a cluster of shops has a smaller selection, but the biggest difference is the staff. We were ignored upon entering the store and had to ask numerous times to try something on. We arrived 40 minutes before the store closed and the woman acted as if we had shown up a minute before closing. She was insistent that only one item at a time could be taken from the case, even though both my friend and I were interested in trying on the wares. Perhaps she thought we were kids up to no good, but as a 30+ aged woman, I don't find that complimentary at all. She provided no information of the jewelry and only gave the price with a sigh attached. After a few minutes of this, despite wanting to purchase a piece, we opted out, due to her demeanor. Hopefully we caught her on an off-day, as this could very much effect business. read more

Went to their jewelry store and was ready to buy a watch. When I go to a boutique it is expected that the people behind the counter will at least say hi. I was completely ignored and they were talking amongst themselves. I felt extremely uncomfortable and me and my husband left pretty quickly. My husband and I just went to Cape May for a lovely Fourth of July weekend and I wanted to visit The Pink House where Victorious calls home...and was surprised to find inside this delicate victorian pink house a TRENDY fashionista botique complete with estate jewelry funky cool jewelry and the latest trends to boot!!! I absolutely felt like I was in a NYC botique and the prices were also very chic NYC botique...however I settled on a very lovely off white very tight pencil skirt that is to die for! I'll be wearing it to my next meeting. I absolutely love their stuff and think they should open an online version. The sales people were also very chic and very nice too. This store is in stark contrast to the rest of cape may which is a lot dowdier and frumpier and filled with old lacy doo dads....:) My hsuband even thought it was trendy! read more

Some cute enough stuff, but prices are really high and the largest size they carry is a 10. Considering average woman is a 12/14, they're really missing out on a huge demographic (no pun intended). This store is the real deal! AWESOME IN EVERY WAY!!!!! Very unique jewelry pieces that are as stylish as they are affordable. The clothes and accessories are EXTREMELY beautiful and the buyers sense of style is fabulous. I bought a pair of great boots and 2 dresses. The owner and girls who work there are very friendly and helpful. I was in Cape May for 4 days and couldn't stay away from this store! We travel to Cape May twice a year- winter and summer.
