When I brought up a historical fiction book I had just finished, related to current times, her attitude totally changed and a condescending disapproval shown through clearly. The young people help run the store, learn job skills, and work toward personal and career goals--and it truly shows in the care and pride behind the space. The shop itself is small but mighty. I walked out with four excellent-condition used books (three of which had already been on my TBR list) and somehow also added two cookbooks because... no regrets. Everything was very affordable, and it felt good knowing my purchase was directly supporting youth in the local community. If you're near one of their locations (I believe there's another in the Boston area), I highly recommend stopping in or checking out their online storefront. Great books, great prices, and an even greater mission--absolutely worth supporting.

I've been here multiple times now…read more Tonight I was grabbing dinner and was intrigued by the table of books out front labeled "$6 books or 3 for $15" and it was loaded with goodies. I walked out with Michelle Obama's book in mint condition for $5. Unreal. Inside is full of wall to wall coverage of books and vinyls. Heaven. It's very tidy and everything is organized by genre for both the books and the vinyls. The friendliest man works here - I believe he's the store owner. Very welcoming, softspoken, and extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I have a question, he knows where to point me. Not to mention he's always turning the tunes for a cozy and welcoming feel as you browse. Couldn't recommend this place more. Go check em out!

They support local authors and even from time to time musicians. I have performed here a couple of times and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Their great event room is a multi-purpose section of the store with a seating capacity of maybe 45-50, give or take. Keep your eyes open for events here! Also has a great selection of gifts. :) The food at the cafe was delicious too!

My son loves coming here as it is inclusive and their bathroom is gender neutral, which makes my heart sing! The staff here are also so friendly, kind and inclusive.
