From the moment you walk in, you're always greeted with a warm welcome from the front desk staff, which makes you feel valued as a patient. The dental technicians and the entire team are professional, patient, and gentle. They always take the time to make sure you're comfortable and explain everything clearly, which really helps put you at ease. One thing I also appreciate is how clean and well-maintained the office is. It's spotless every time I visit, and you can tell they take pride in providing a safe and welcoming environment. I'm also excited to see that they've recently started offering pediatric dental services, making them a great option for families who want quality dental care for both adults and children. Overall, the service is A1 from start to finish. If you're looking for a dental office with friendly staff, excellent care, and a clean, professional atmosphere, I highly recommend Smile Dental Care. Believe it or not, this mobile unit is quite advanced. It has all of the latest technology that you would see in a regular dentist office. They move quickly and they are thorough. The name of the dentist is Dr. Alba Maria-Diaz. Here is the info from their flyer (I'm too lazy to scan it): We offer dental services with the most advanced technology: Oral exam, digital x-ray, cleaning, filling, crowns, veneer, complete denture, partial denture, valplast, bridge. We accept most major insurances: Medicaid, Metroplus, Wellcare, Guardian, Fidelis, Melody, Met Life, Cigna, Aetna. For patients without dental insurance new patients can get an exam, x-ray, and cleaning for $75. Monday: 170th St and Jerome Ave Tues and Thurs: 149th St and Morris Ave Wed and Fri: 161St and Morris Ave They accept appointments too. Its recommended that you call on holidays and in bad weather to confirm your appointment. I didn't make an appointment and I had a cleaning done. While I was there, the dentist also noticed that I needed fillings and she did them on the spot. It was oh so convenient to just show up without having to wait weeks or months for an appointment. When I got there, there was one person ahead of me and they were almost finished so I didn't wait long at all. The dentist is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish. She is VERY nice, professional, knowledgeable, and gentle. Her assistant is also nice and professional. I will definitely be back in 6 months.

However the scheduling system and person over the computer system and front desk are a damn mess. It's getting worse. First on June 1, they had my husband and child wait over an hour to tell him that she wouldn't been seen because the dentist didn't want to see her, as another dentist had worked on her. They would prefer her to stick with her. Why did that take an hour to figure out. The person scheduling should of been aware. So they rescheduled her appointment for 6/23. We couldn't make it. So it was rescheduled for today. As you can see from the text i attached . I arrive today at 10:00am and first thing the receptionist over the screen says is that she can't see my daughter appointment in the system. Why is the call center scheduled appointment and the actual location not aligned? This matter should be looked into. Secondly , I'm told that my child will be seen, but I have to wait , because there are 4 people ahead of her . Again. How the hell and why the hell is that possible when she has an appointment SCHEDULED FOR TODAY. I am so irritated and frustrated. Because the issues are out of my control. But it's to many incidents that I am ready to not return to this location. I hate that because I actually like Dentist themselves, but the mishaps are very disheartening. I pray that they fix the system. I have been with them since 2019. I would hate to leave, but this is becoming an inconvenience.
