They completely ruined my business structure, I wasted my time and my money, and now I have to start over. I was misled and it caused serious harm to my business. I paid MD Legals to create a Limited Partnership in Alberta for privacy. But they filed the certificate incorrectly and plastered my own name all over it, while it was NOT required to list the limited partner. They gave me incorrect information MULTIPLE times about disclosures, then said "Sorry the information was wrong" but then they AGAIN gave me misleading information. They said it was required to disclose the Limited Partner name on the certificate. But the law was changed in 2021 and I expected a law cabinet to keep up with current regulations (4 years later they should know). I have contacted 3 other registered agents to confirm this information. Everyone told me the limited partner is NOT required to be disclosed. So MD Legals ruined the privacy of the structure by disclosing private information. They never explained the certificate would be public on the microfilm, I thought it was for their internal records. The certificate they made me sign was their own draft where they mistakenly disclosed the name of the Limited Partner (it was NOT required). Now I have to dissolve everything (LP, LLC GP, bank accounts, credit cards) and start under different names because MD Legals ruined the brand and my personal information will be forever tied to it. I wasted over $3000 with them when accounting for the tax filings of this useless soon-to-be-dissolved business. I still tried to give them another chance and start over by incorporating a fresh new entity in BC without repeating the same mistakes. But then they AGAIN gave me incorrect information, claiming I couldn't avoid disclosing the limited partner. I have contacted the BC Registry directly to confirm that this information is incorrect. I have the BC declaration form for LP in front of me right now, it only asks for the General Partner. The limited partner doesn't have to be disclosed, not in Alberta, and not in BC. Now they just don't reply to my emails anymore.

Pretty good service. Placed order online for an Ontario corporation, received the articles and…read morecertification by email in less than 2 hours time. Though I wished they consult me before incorporation, but they explained, I didn't choose such option. Anyhow, not bad.
