Unfortunately, I was calling right before spring break, so I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could get in... but they also put me on the cancellation list and I was able to get in a little sooner than expected. I love everything about this office. The front end staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is really warm and welcoming. I love the water feature in the waiting room... it's very calming. Sadly for me, it has been a couple of years since I've been to the dentist. After a bad experience with the last office, I just couldn't bring myself to go. Neither the dentist or the hygienist made me feel bad for not going in. In fact, the hygienist (who was very careful to remain professional and not bad mouth another dentist office) said she can actually understand why I was hesitant to go back. Anyway... all the staff were very respectful and made me genuinely want to go back to the dentist. The hygienist (Jodi - she's lovely) froze my mouth for the cleaning because I had a major amount of sensitivity and was having a hard time with the pain. She also split it up into two visits so it wasn't so daunting all at once. It was a great experience, and I'll be back!

My boyfriend also just booked his first appointment here! Dr.Minato's staff make you feel welcomed and cared for. It's like coming to visit old friends with how personable, friendly and attentive they are to their clients. My dental hygienist Rosa remembers my stories from my previous visits! She's always so nice! The facility is clean and modern. Each dentist chair has an overhead flat screen tv, so you can watch your favorite shows while getting work done. The atmosphere is very relaxed. You can tell that the staff enjoy what they do and have fun working together! That totally contributes to allowing a client to have a positive experience. While I was not pleased with the staff and the fact Dentus now charges more than the Alberta Dental Fee Guide, I was willing to give the new ownership the benefit of the doubt. After the freezing wore off, however, I had significant pain. It turns out that a simple filling turned into a cracked tooth and damage which now require further treatment. While I understand a filling can result in complications, I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice because of the further treatment required in addition to Dr. Manghera's staff's lack of professionalism.

They replaced your broken retainer for free!! That must have really been the last straw hahaha.
