Dr. Mar is friendly and hilarious! They've always been on time for appts and throughout covid have made it easy and pain free. My kids are always happy when they leave and my husband, although he was reluctant to get Invisalign at 38 years old says all the staff and Dr's are awesome. Soo I'm not sure what the other side of the WHOLE story is with the other reviewer (1 star) for this business but I definitely found myself questioning what the issue was.... They replaced your broken retainer for free!! That must have really been the last straw hahaha. Anyway, we have not had any issues with the staff or treatment so far and I don't anticipate it as they go above and beyond to keep us informed and comfortable when we are there.

I see Dr. Wasylucha and he is a great dentist. He set me at ease when he was pulling my wisdom teeth. He is very calm and slow and attentive when freezing his patients I barely felt the needles at all. I'm not scared of the dentist or needles but he really makes he experience that much better. I go for teeth cleanings every 6 months my dental hygienist is also phenomenal. She's gentle and friendly and explains everything you need to know. They have comfortable dentist chairs and TVs in each room on the ceiling. This is very helpful as it distracts you from what's going on. Kristina and Dr. Wasylucha make the experience better. Even the lovely ladies at the reception desk are great and helpful. I will continue to come here as long as I can.

Dr. El-Bialy is not a very helpful and he has multiple clinics and not enough people. He spends from 3-5 minutes with you (per visit, if you are lucky). I have never had a bad experience when going in for my yearly check up, getting a mouth guard created or for the dental emergency. The staff have always been really pleasant and friendly and even when there was a scheduling mix up, they did their best to accommodate my needs. Dr. Yeh has always been really good about answering any questions I might have about my teeth, procedures and what to expect. I recommend this clinic to people all the time and most of my family have seen Dr. Yeh at one point or another. An extra bonus is that they have clinics in multiple locations (Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, UofA). We all know going to the dentist isn't exactly a top activity on the fun list but at least the Smiles Dental Group makes it as tolerable and pleasant as possible :)
