I say "working together" because each and every year has felt like a partnership in where my taxes are completed to the utmost efficiency and detail. Stacy is always current in his tax knowledge and passes these specific details on to myself, and assuming the rest of his clients. Since I started working with Stacy, I've referred over 6 family members and they've all been incredibly happy with his work, and customer service. There is much to be said about him providing a hassle-free, timely, and comprehensive tax return for pennies in comparison to what I used to pay ($200+) for larger chain firms. Stacy is probably one of the most detail oriented people I have ever met. He values your time and his and has fine tuned his process to be very efficient. My taxes are always very straight forward which gives me a quick turn around time. After reading his annual news letter, completing 2 forms, and turning in my paperwork, we chat on the phone and pick a 20 minute time slot (I think I spent 7 minutes there total-last year he let me stop by after 8:30pm when I was working late hours) Stacy shows me my numbers and tells me what I need to know. The owner was aggressive and proceeded to tell me that if he didn't file it he didn't want anything to do it with it. Called to discuss pricing to file back taxes and the gentleman that answered was extremely rude. He cut me off in the first 15 seconds of the conversation and said everything was on his website, in a curt impatient voice. I was taken aback by his tone, and said calmly, wow, it doesn't sound like you are really interested in my business. His answer- no not for people that put things off until last minute. . Um okay lol. I honestly don't think I've ever been addressed in that fashion by a business- especially when completely unwarranted- I was friendly! Customer service and gaining long term clients obviously not a concern at this establishment. All 18 other reviews are 5 star. Celebrating 17th year with Stacy! Since then till now he still amazes me with his skills & tax knowledge. His organization and speed make each year- filling a breeze. Stacy is very detailed oriented, and I love that working with him. Follow his procedure / instructions and he will return quality results. Got married last year and joined my hubby with his long time CPA to prep our taxes. Didn't agree with her results, hence had Stacy reviewed. Their numbers were close (Stacy bit better). Contacted them through yelp - they asked me to call them. I was greeted by a man that was quite rude. He asked me to explain what services I needed, to which I said there were a couple and began listing the 4 items. He promptly interrupted me to say "sorry can't help with estimating LLC quarterly tax payments since I didn't do your 2017 return. Nope, that wouldn't work." I almost explained I wanted a long term tax expert to help me with my business for years to come, and there are a few aspects I would like help with - more than just quarterly tax payment estimates. Then I realized I wouldn't want to work with someone with this type of attitude anyway. read more
