Nope. $55 for a SUBPAR cut because he "didn't have an appointment." Will not be coming back and will actively campaign against this shop to all friends and coworkers. Wish I could put 0 stars.

I spoke and no one said a thing but I noticed when other customers came in, they were greeted. Finally, after I practically stood in front of a barber, I was acknowledged. The Barber in the first chair, closest to the entrance (with the man bun) asked me if I needed help but he said that he was booked until 6pm and on top of that, he wasn't very friendly. Seriously? Two people were at the counter, and one at the cash register. Where did the barbers get their customer service skills? Definitely, not a culturally friendly establishment. I felt discriminated against because I am white, and my son is bi-racial, and his mother is African American. We will never take my son to this place again.

The service made me…read moreprepay for the appointment, received an email that my appointment was under review and i would be notified when it is accepted and only charged when it is accepted. She accepted the appointment finally 5 MINUTES before the appointment time and expected me to be there still in addition to charging my card. I called immediately and explained that my appointment hadn't been accepted until 5 minutes out and i wouldn't be able to make it (assuming she wasn't going to accept the appointment at all--surely not five minutes from the appointment time). Called the shop, asked for a refund and was met with attitude about how I am supposed to still show up (even though my appointment wasn't accepted) and even more attitude when i explained how it doesn't make sense for me to still show when my appointment hasn't been accepted. All in all, I was scammed by this person. Don't book.

I am literally never one to leave a bad review, but this needed it. I made an appointment for my…read moreson yesterday at this location, and definitely will not be back again. When we walked in, the master barber was on a facetime call with (what I'm assuming was) his child. No big deal, as a mom- I get it. However, he didn't say a word to us, just motioned towards his chair. I awkwardly started to try and explain what we usually have done at the other shop we go to, while he was still talking to his child, and before I knew it, my son's hair was basically going to have to become a buzz cut. I tried telling him we usually keep it long on top (to which he responded, "oh.") but it was too late at that point. While it could definitely have been a communication error on my end, he did not take the time to listen or discuss anything with me before he started buzzing. My son is so upset and now will have to deal with weeks of growing his hair back out because the barber couldn't be bothered to get off the phone and speak to us. He did finally get off the phone, but he still said nothing throughout the cut. The cut itself isn't even good- completely uneven in the front. He also cut my son's neck in several places and he said it was the most painful haircut he has ever gotten. He took another personal phone call during the appointment as well. The whole experience was just awful and the mom guilt for even taking him here is the cherry on top. I'd post a picture of the cut, but he won't let me take one.
