I got a simple fade, which was very good, and should've cost no more than $15 dollars according to the sign. Instead, the guy cutting my hair charged me $20 and didn't take a credit card. If you're looking for a place to get a good haircut and don't really care about price, this is a good shop. Like I said, solid haircut and nice people working, just need to be more clear on pricing.

I was told that her lunch hour started at 11:30 so she didn't have time to take me (in the 25 minutes remaining). My hair is very simple to cut (classic business cut) and usually takes about 10 minutes. I left and will not be going back. So, essentially, the posted 11:30 to 12:30 lunch hour is actually at LEAST 11:00 to 12:30. I'm sympathetic to the need for a decent lunch hour, but there was really no excuse for this. Fortunately, there are other very good barbers on Hilton Head and they will be getting my business going forward.

The Barber in the first chair, closest to the entrance (with the man bun) asked me if I needed help but he said that he was booked until 6pm and on top of that, he wasn't very friendly. Seriously? Two people were at the counter, and one at the cash register. Where did the barbers get their customer service skills? Definitely, not a culturally friendly establishment. I felt discriminated against because I am white, and my son is bi-racial, and his mother is African American. We will never take my son to this place again.
