The samosas were so…read morefresh two weeks ago my son and I had two each in my previous trip and gave serious thought to a third Samosa each. Today we took two cars so the whole family could join in, including grand children, and take photos at the best pumpkin display in Keremeos - not just my opinion either; I saw in the Keremeos paper last year it was named the #1 display and it was on page 1. So it is more than my favourite. It's in the sunshine and today my Dad, 85 years old posed behind the tractor. Lots of pics today of everyone. There were a lot of others today with the same goal of photos with the pumpkin display while getting some vegetable shopping done. The genuine authentic smiles from the owners each and every time we visit are always appreciated as are the fair prices. When my wife makes relish they fresh pick the morning she is coming so it's perfect for her canning later. My wife's relish is the best ! Today I bought apples, tomatoes, pears and onions and of course, samosas. If I could give this fruit stand and these nice ladies six stars then I sincerely would.

This year in Aug 2014 we stopped and picked up 60 lbs of freshly picked tree ripened peaches (still firm but ready in 2 days), 10 lbs of red plums, and a bunch of huge yellow and green cucumbers. The veggies were delicious, and peaches and plums are juicy and sweet. Overall for organic we found the prices excellent, and Laine provided us with outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I unsuccesfully tried to return 4 servings of quiche that I had bought at 50% off at Quality Greens…read moreon Saturday, December 1 to Quality Greens. They were 50% discounted and looked good and so I bought them. An hour later we heated one up at home and it tasted "off" and was definitely not edible. The first chance I had to return to the store was Monday and I returned with the three servings and the container for fourth item which I had thrown out. I asked for a refund and was told that it was not possible. I did not have the receipt but the woman from the deli said she knew they were from her store because she had put them out after they had thawed. Each container had description, date and contents of container and name of food tag on the container. I emailed the store on Tuesday to ask what their policy was for returning food they sold that was "off". I still have not had a response. I have never returned anything to Quality Greens before but found their response to my concern and request very flip and uncaring and I have not returned since. I have usually shopped there about 4 times per week, as I live on the West Bench. I was absolutely not expecting this response for a store that prides itself on quality. I hope they respond publicly here. I said I would look for the receipt but they still Said they would not return it and that they knew it had been bought there. If discounted food is not healthy to eat, they should not sell it. I would be very beware of the discounted servings of food. I am hoping for a satisfactory response. Mhairi Dunnett Please respond to my email. I added my telephone number

Turn in when their products are in season & youve entered fruit & veggie heaven!. They sell fruit & veg in their fruit stand but its also a you pick. In the summer its just bustling w people: customers, workers, family, children & animals. Its quite a happy atmosphere. The fruits & vegetables are top quality w minimal spray. U pick is also fun. It wont take long & your bucket will be full of goodness. The prices are also the best. U pick is a little less than already picked but compared to the supermarket in the city well theres just no comparison. Whatever is in season the city supermarket has tiny imported low quality product compared to what you get fresh off a tree or out of their rows & rows of vegetables. Red Russian garlic in the city if you can find it cost $3 or more a stem. Here its 99¢ / lb for example. Yes factor in gas fr Vancouver & its costly but its a wonderful field trip for us. Oh dont forget protect yourself fr mosquitoes when you come.
