I used it then pay a bill then later Saturday i tried to use my card could not went to the bank and was told my account was closed . Told to come back to the bank on Monday . So i went back to the bank today and was told it was due to close today . They would not give me my money and told me i would have to wait until tomrrow for them to cancel the bill that was paid and send my money back to the sender before i will be able to get it . I am 60 years old with major health issuses and really need this money for medicine and food imetly not days or weeks from now . The bill was to pay a lien on everthing i own that is in storgage so i will lose everthing not to metion my health risk from not having the money for my medicines . My health isn't even worth not closing an account over an $11 overdraft that could have been cleared up if they just would have messaged me or picked up a phone and called me . Your life and health is worth nothing to them . They are heartless

I've asked several neighbors who they banked with and if they were happy with the service. There were many complaints about many banks, First Citizens Bank was mentioned by several neighbors who raved about them. Things like seeing familiar faces for years at the branches, to good feedback on interactions with staff, phone call center employees and mobile / web banking. We researched continued our research and First Citizens Bank kept popping up with good feedback. So we took the plunge. We went into the Lexington branch on W. Main St. (near Food Lion and the Lexington 29071 post office). We were greeted by a very nice teller who asked how she could help us. We told her we were there to open a new account. A gentleman came out of the office and introduced himself as Garrison Graham. Garrison was great. Super nice, funny, knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to work with. We were very pleased with the competitive products FCB offers. We opened a checking and a savings account. Garrison was a full service, customer satisfaction oriented professional. He set up the accounts, provided all the necessary checks and deposit slips, explained the process for direct deposits and electronic transfers. He also set us up with the mobile app and online banking. We'll surely stop to say hello to Garrison each time in the branch. Everyone there are just those kind of people. Genuinely nice and make you feel like a valued customer they've known forever. If you stop in for anything other than teller services, ask for Garrison tell him we sent you! She provided no assistance with the request, and in fact, she did the complete opposite by selling everything instead of transferring it. I am not happy and would not recommend their services.

I love this bank. Everyone is so nice and super attentive. Although today I came at opening time…read more(9:00am) and the doors were locked. I waited twenty minutes and still no one opened the door. I double checked the hours posted on the door to make sure I wasn't getting the opening time wrong. They are supposed to open at 9. I waited until 9:20 standing at the door. I know they have more than just one form of currency but I buy Euro, there and they have it on hand. Anywhere else you have to order it and get it 1-3 days later and there is usually a delivery charge of $7.00. If you buy it there then there is no delivery charge.
