On the day of Ed arrived early to set up and worked easily with the many changes that took place, like my coordinator being fired from the venue the day before my wedding! ZERO STARS -- One of the Most Distressing Vendor Experiences of My Career…read more I am a professional wedding planner writing this review on behalf of my couple, and I want to be very clear: in my ten years in this industry, I have never felt such shock, stress, or sadness for a couple on their wedding day because of a vendor. The DJ assigned to the event--who is also the owner--arrived hours late, offered no communication, and was visibly in no condition to work. When he arrived, he became unable to stand without assistance. At no point did he notify us in advance that he was severely ill, which would have allowed us to bring in a replacement and spare the couple an enormous amount of unnecessary stress. Because he could not unload or set up his equipment, the groomsmen--on a day meant to be joyful and celebratory--spent hours doing it themselves. We were moments away from delaying the ceremony because we were simply trying to get basic equipment functioning. Throughout the night, the DJ was almost entirely unable to perform. A wedding guest ultimately stepped in as the MC. The DJ spent most of the event resting in the groom's suite, and during the brief moments he attempted to be at his table, he did not appear able to operate his setup. The groomsmen then had to tear down and load all of the equipment at the end of the night as well. It was heartbreaking to watch the wedding party and guests fill roles they should never have been put in. This is not what anyone envisions for their wedding day. What has been especially difficult is what followed. Despite full transparency about what occurred, the owner has declined to issue any refund, stating that "services were performed." Given that the majority of the work was done by the wedding party and guests, this response has been incredibly disheartening. For additional context, the owner stepped in only because the originally assigned DJ had been unresponsive and unreliable in the weeks prior--a sign we hoped was isolated, but ultimately reflected a larger pattern. I am writing this review because I never want another couple to experience the level of anxiety, frustration, and disappointment this one endured. I strongly encourage future couples to choose a DJ service that is consistent, communicative, and prepared with proper contingency plans. A wedding day is far too important--and far too emotional--to be put at risk.

Everyone at the reception kept saying how amazing the music was (we went for classier Sinatra type music) and how they all couldn't help but sing along. Words can't describe how happy I am to have worked with Sean. He was so accommodating and understanding of our needs. Just two weeks before my wedding, I lost my grandpa. Then the night before the wedding, I lost my uncle. Needless to say that my family coming to the wedding was a bit of an emotional wreck...Sean was so amazing at reading the crowd at the wedding and kept playing dinner type music instead of full on funky dance music. Just him doing those simple things meant so much to me. Everyone was enjoying talking/singing at the tables, and I'm glad Sean understood that. We also had a lot of last minute details that my hubby got cold feet on (like the $$$ dance), along with our wedding schedule being 30mins AHEAD of schedule (unheard of!) but Sean was more than willing to help keep things moving smoothly. Sean also did a photo montage for after our dinner portion of the reception and it was adorable! So many pictures of my hubby that I hadn't even seen! He took the couple songs I picked out and synced them up perfectly with all the photos. Needless to say, Sean Lee is absolutely amazing! His fees were very transparent and based on consultatatively understanding what our use case was. On the event day, Sailen was arrived really early and was super helpful when the event planner wasn't there. He knew where most thing should go, what color lights work for the event, etc. The music was amazing! He was also into the event and you could see him with a huge smile, encouraging the attendees and playing off our energy. I loved our experience and look forward to finding another excuse to throw a party to have him back.
