My mama heart is so happy to have stumbled upon this doctor! My sweet little angel face thought that her ear was the perfect spot for a dried bean she found at daycare. After a very painful and traumatic series of events at urgent care, emergency, and a different ENT the previous day, we were on the hunt for someone who could remove our new found treasure. We literally just drove around to every ENT we could find in the area hoping someone could help and finally we found Dr. Donepudi's office. First, we caught the front office staff just before lunch and they jumped through so many hoops to try and squeeze a consultation appointment in that same day. I think we may have even cut into their lunch break a bit :( but they could not have been more accommodating and kind to us!! We walked in as a brand new patient and had an appointment in less than 2hrs. The wonderful woman (I am so sad I didn't get her name) at the front mentioned the doc might try to suction it out. I was not willing to let another doc dig in her ear again after the last one shoved a sharp hook-shaped tool in her ear, but I thought suction might be ok to try. The other ENT had us on the schedule to remove it under anesthesia more than a week later, which was the main reason we went searching. We did not want to leave an organic material lodged in our child's ear for a week, especially since it did seem to cause her some discomfort. So if the suction wouldn't work, we were at least hoping to get on the schedule sooner than a week out. When we saw Dr. Donepudi, he was so kind and incredibly patient. My kiddo was pretty traumatized from the events the day before, so just trying to allow the doc access to her ear was rough. After lottttts of coaxing and promising that he wasn't digging it out, we finally got her shoulders down and he was able to see how deeply the bean was lodged. Knowing the depth and recognizing my child's very visible fear, he decided our best bet was to just go straight to anesthesia. And it looked like it was still going to be close to a week out, but I already liked his bedside manner way more. Plus they took care credit and it was at least a day sooner than the other appointment. BUT!!!!!!! BUT, they double checked and managed to get us scheduled for the VERY. NEXT. DAY!! (Today!!) I teared up from overwhelming relief. We got there before the sun came up today and after discussions with all the parties involved in the procedure, they rolled her out around 7:40am. By 7:54, we were already back with her texting our family to tell them it was done. Dr. Donepudi even brought us the bean in a little container without us even having to ask him to save it. This is definitely one for the memorabilia box! He told us he was able to get it out without any additional trauma to the ear and sure as anything, she hasn't complained once about ear pain all day and she is back to her regular shenanigans! Dr. Donepudi and his staff were professional, patient and helpful during my visit at his Sugar Land location. Dr. Donepudi listened carefully as I explained my health concerns. He provided a detailed description of treatment options for my condition and recommended a CAT scan to gain more information before making a final decision on treatment. I went to this doctor for an ear wax buildup removal. I have gone to others before him but I went here this time because I had recently changed insurance providers and needed someone in-network that was close to home and available soon. First off one of the ladies at the front desk was super rude. She told me that I had an account due with Memorial Hermann and that I had to pay it before seeing the doctor. I told her that that was impossible since I hadn't been to Memorial Hermann in years for anything at all. She started patronizing me and saying that if it was in the system it meant that I owed that money. We went back and forth for about a minute and then her co-worker corrected her and it turned out that the "due money" was the copay I had to pay for the procedure ($58), which was apart from the $50 copay of the doctor visit. Once we got that cleared I payed what I had to pay and waited for the doctor. The doctor was very professional and courteous. However, the procedure took longer than I'm used to and it was a little more uncomfortable than with other doctors because he didn't use anything like vacuums or gels like others have used in the past (ear wax buildup is a recurrent issue for me so I have experience with different doctors and procedures). I also didn't feel my ears were "100%" clean. But at the end I was happy with the consultation, the procedure, and the doctor. Being said that, about 45 days after the visit I got a bill in the mail saying that I owed another $30 for the visit/procedure. Well, it turns out that the total balance was $370, and my copay total was $136. When compared to others doctors I visited in the past, there's no way I'm coming back here. You get a much better return of investment by going to places like West Houston ENT & Sleep Center (Dr. Ludwick has state of the art equipment that makes ear wax removal a breeze and he's super experienced and knowledgeable), Allison Audiology (their staff is super friendly and courteous and when they removed ear wax for me they were super gentle and took the time to make sure that my ears were super clean without hurting me or creating discomfort) or Houston ENT in Sugarland where the consultation copay includes a hearing test. Doctor Donepudi is a good guy but he needs a friendlier staff at the front desk, and he also needs to reevaluate the relation between the value and the cost of his services. read more

this office wasted my time. I drove all the way to this location to get daughter looked at for hoarseness , called even before to make sure they had information and to send any new patient info.. NEVER RECEIVED THAT either.. Main issue came there and was told after driving for an 800 appointment in morning traffic for 45 mins. that the doctor don't think the scope can be used to check my daughter throat. he apologize rather send me to a pedi ent.. OK WHY no one communicated before hand when I called over 3 times to confirm this appointment and explained my complaint. horrible service... don't go there if you can help it.. unorganized business no wonder so quick availability. younger workers there in front etc. unorganized read more
