Took my babies here for allergy testing, everyone was so nice and helpful. Felt like they really cared.

We saw the NP, Tosin and she was great. They ARE slow, however the flip side of that is that she spent so much time with my anxious son and provided excellent care and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and that I had all my questions answered. I can easily see how that would cause the appointments to run behind, but I am grateful for the extra time spent. read more

I had a 10 a.m. appointment but didn't leave the office until 1:02 p.m. I strongly believe that the wait time should be shorter. The intradermal allergy testing left my arm swollen and with injection marks. In my opinion, a blood draw would be better than skin testing, as patients can apply Aveeno or Hydrocortisone on the skin to produce false positives. read more

First time coming to allergy & Ent and I thought everything was fine until my 4th appointment . I got an email saying that my account has a balance.I called the billing department and the representative had an attitude because I'm asking about the balance that I had no clue about. Then the representative kept asking did you look at the EOB and I said no I went off of what your front desk has been quoting me. Remind you before each appointment I am quoted an amount and I pay it each time I leave. Come to find out allergy & ENT is saying that I have not been paying the full amount and that they have been quoting me wrong . Out of the 4 appointments that I have been to this was NEVER brought to my attention. Then for a 20 minute appointment I got charge and extra amount because it was a complex visit. Complex visit? never heard of that before. Overall all its safe to say I won't be back. read more

ALWAYS a long wait of at least an hour! I've waited over 2 hrs before to see Dr. Tamboli. NEVER even once has a nurse or provider commented on the wait or apologized. An apology for the wait goes a long way to making a patient less irritated. read more

Have been using the practice for my son's allergy care for about one year. Doctor is extremely nice and billing people are friendly and helpful. However, when it comes to the nursing staff, it is very disappointing. They have the tendency NOT TO INFORM YOU on shot schedule changes. For numerous times we walk in and are told "sorry can't give you shots today due to short staffing." It's post-pandemic era and this excuse should no longer be a factor to affect everyone's shots and PTO! I was tremendously annoyed again when son was being rejected to have shots after I carefully arranged my work hours. Worst part was that the association does not have a central customer service or customer relations line. Was told to contact the Katy practice manager. No one answered my call so a message was left. Let's see if they care to call back or not. read more

I signed up for Yelp simply to review this business. Do not initiate treatment of any kind at this site. It is nearly impossible to speak to anyone, to have appointments schedule or medications reauthorized in a safe and timely manner. Absolutely the worst in customer service and patient care. It would be far more beneficial to drive to a further location than to spend countless days and hours attempting to reach their office for any kind of need. They should be closed. read more

LOOK UP THEIR OTHER YELP REVIEWS: Can't do less than 1 star but my 19 year old daughter went in for just an evaluation and charged our credit card for $720 without discussing this amount prior to the evaluation and without even an invoice of what was charged. I will have my attorney send them a letter as well I am going to dispute this charge. This is a very crooked office. Look at their YELP reviews also there are other reviews there with the same type of tactics where they overcharge people. HORRIBLE OFFICE. RUN don't walk away from this place. Your response was less than helpful. I have tried to speak with the practice manager however she appears to be on vacation in Mexico. The front desk person was so rude when I called as well. To confirm what I am saying go look on YELP. Search for Allergy & ENT Associates and look at all of the YELP reviews for their locations. You will see that this is what they do. They treat you and charge you afterwards. It is a pattern and what I am saying is supported by all of the YELP reviews. 10-20-2021 Update to the owners response: Look at the Fannin St. location. S T. from Dallas, TX states: "They did allergy tests on me but didn't tell me ahead of time that I would be expected to pay 600 dollars out of pocket. I really think that is unethical. I won't go back." Look up their Katy location on YELP and scroll down to B R. Review: "This practice has obvious problems with administration. Not refunding or notifying a patient of a 720.00 overcharge is completely unacceptable. Poor business practice and lack of oversight." If you look at all of the YELP reviews you will see a clear pattern of them not discussing the fees and what the cost will be before they perform the treatment. There is mention in the majority of reviews about them being focused only on revenue and profits over patient care. This pattern of behavior by this organization is clear. I do plan to fight this to the end. I know this company may not care about online reviews much but I am sure that my negative review will be seen by someone looking online at options and they will decide to go somewhere else and that will cost this place more than the $727 that they stole from my family. read more

Made an appointment for 3:30. Didn't get called back until 4. Took my 2 years olds weight and height and sat us in room for another 45 minutes. Once doctor came in she saw us for 5 minutes and even left the room mid conversation. Could tell she wasn't really engaged in checking my toddlers symptoms. 2 different nurses came back to do a skin prick test on my 2 year old at different times. Did not communicated with each other I guess, but said her body wasn't ready. Checked out and they charged me $160 literally for nothing. Not going back here and don't recommend Dr. Nguyen. It's 5:20 now and we are leaving with nothing gained, only money lost. read more

I can not comment on the care or the doctors as on my first visit I was kept waiting in the hall for on hour and once the nurse took me in, I was told that there could be another 45 minutes of wait. The Office Staff is very disappointing. There is a sign above the weight scale that's says Physicians request you remove your shoes. I tried at two different appointments to remove my shoes and was told to keep them on. When they measured my height it was off 11/2 inches because I had a heel on my shoe. The attitude was "oh, well". I moved to the desk where she took my temperature. Never looked at it. There was a Dr standing at the desk that started to say something and then looked away. After this appointment I went to my primary Doctor. I had a temperature and tested pos for COVID. I did not get the 2nd set of allergy tests as I had taken cough syrup. I stayed off all medications for 5 days and had a severe cough. I contacted the office and asked about taking the cough medicine as I did not want to be unable to test. The girl said let me check. She came back on line and said yes, it's fine. You can take the cough medicine. I suffered 5 days with no medications and because of the cough syrup could not test. I still got charged for the appointment. Maybe they think they are being efficient or professional but it comes off as rude and arrogant. I have seen the Dr once so far. She is professional and thorough. Best I can tell this is a corporate business that makes their money giving allergy shots. They need to work on customer service skills with their staff or will lose patients. read more

I had some itching in my ears, My PCP said might be because of wax in your ears, He send a referral to Allergy & ENT associates, I got a call from them that they have received a referral, and schedule me for 12/19, asked me to buy some drops over the counter and put for five days in your ears, one day before my appointment on 12/18, they called and said the referral is not right and we cant see you, I put the medicine for five days took off from job and then they cancelled my appointment, They are very disorganized, They told get a new referral, I told them I will get a new referral but not for your office. read more

I made an appt for an 8:30 cat scan and was the 2nd person at the office. 6 more people showed up and after 20 mins I still had not been taken back for my cat scan, I even asked the front desk what the hold up was. it's funny how if a patient is 15 mins late then their appt is cancelled, drs offices need to start being cancelled for not being on time or overbooking. 2 workers came late, I am a working professional and I can only imagine what it's like for a person who works hourly and has to take time off to come to this office. I don't recommend this office to anyone. please find another location. I honestly don't know how they even stay in business if they never answer the phones. my 3 year old has a horrendous cough, she was recommended by her pediatrician and since she is young, she doesnt know how to cough up phlegm so she throws up instead. to say the least this last week has been a nightmare. we were able to get in with Dr. Nguyen on Friday. she recommended a skin test to rule out allergies ( which we had to reschedule for 2 weeks out because of spring break and also being on a histamine-Claritin. you have to go 5 days without one if you need a skin test that tests for allergies. had no clue. she also recommended a Ct scan to determine if she had a sinus infection which she was leaning towards it being. we couldn't schedule that either since we had to wait for insurance approval ( totally understandable) gentleman called us that friday and told us that we didn't need pre approval on CT and we could schedule us. he transferred me to Katy location to schedule asap and no one answered, so I left a voicemail. I also thought I'd call back Monday morning since it was Friday afternoon, I figured they be getting close to closing. Monday came around and no call back. I spent over an hour trying to call, each time being on the line for 10+ min to the point where you just had to leave a vm. I finally decided to drive myself and my I'll child to their office simply to schedule a CT scan. manager apologized and they were able to see us right away for scan. they called me 3 hours later and technician called wanting to know my little girls weight because the PA( since doctor is out this week) apparently reviewed the scans and wants to call in a script. but she couldn't give me the information because the PA would have to give me details. so she pretty much just called to get a weight. I decided to give it a few hours and here we are 30 min before they close and no call back and no answer from their offices. please don't come here. Go somewhere else if you even just want to talk to a live person about any concerns you may have. read more

Not a good office. I checked in for my appointment with paperwork 10 minutes early. I waited 15 minutes and was called back. The nurse took my blood pressure and left. I then waited another 35 minutes for the doctor. My appointment was 5 minutes long. Unacceptable and poor scheduling. Unfriendly staff. The waiting room was empty. read more

Dr. Saunders is the best. He's kind, caring and open minded, letting me have a say in my own treatment. Some doctors get defensive that I know my condition and have the intellect to discuss my options. Maureen, Debra, and the other nurses are sweet and very helpful in administering my allergy shots. They know me as a person. Debra has gone out of her way to help get my plasma treatments covered by the insurance company. With that medicine, it's not that easy because it's an extraordinarily expensive medicine. My only concern is that when I go on a new plan this practice may not be covered. They do take most insurance plans though. read more

2nd appointment for testing. Currently waiting 1 hour and 15 min and still no doctor. Have been here a total of 3.5 hours. The first appointment was here for 4 hours total. The waiting is absurd especially with no communication from staff as to why or an update. read more

I am surprised at the negative reviews because my experience here was absolutely wonderful! I LOVED the nurses: Crystal, Meghan, and Debra. They're all so caring and helpful. Crystal did my extensive allergy panel tests. I had almost 150 pricks and spent several hours there, but Crystal ensured I was comfortable and informed. I valued her kind manners and humor, which made the time go by faster. Meghan was also very helpful in teaching me how to use the AUVI-Q device for when I get a severe food allergy attack. I also appreciated Stephanie, in billing/ check-out, as she went above and beyond to help me verify my insurance would cover all the tests that I had done prior to arriving. All in all, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I didn't like was that the temperature of the waiting rooms can be rather hot. But when they were not busy, they gave me the option to be in a cooler room. :0) read more

Not a good thing but Seems like they will write you a prescription even if you don't need it. I took my toddler in to get an allergy test and we had to wait over an hour to be seen. Once they called us inside the room we had to wait another 30 minutes for someone to come inside. I simply went in to get an allergy test for my toddler in order to prevent accidents in the future. I never said my daughter had allergic reactions or any symptoms. The doctor prescribed my daughter medicine BEFORE we even did the test. It was like she didn't even listen to what I had to say. At all. We left once that happened. I knew the results didn't matter at that point and the testing was not going to return honest result. Will not be returning and don't recommend. I did not appreciate she prescribed my toddler medicine without doing a full physical or check. They must get a kickback from prescribing these medicines. read more

Friendly front desk staff and medical staff in the back. Doctor was a little "dry" in his delivery, we were there for our 8 month son. However, I appreciate and respect how he chose to move forward in the treatment of our son. We will be back in the future for a follow up. read more

I had a procedure performed 03/2018. Follow up on 04/2018. Prior to the procedure I was charged my copay and the portion that they said I would be responsible for. Fast forward to 1/14/2019. I go in for my first appointment with an allergist. When I go to make my copay I am told that I have a "credit" so they will deduct it. My question was "why do I have a credit and how much." I was told that my 03/2018 procedure was overcharged... in the amount of over 720.00 dollars! I asked why I was not notified about this and was given no valid reasons. They claimed that they contact patients about credits every six months... clearly not in my case. In fact... I would have never known about the 720.00 if I hadn't returned for an allergy test. This practice has obvious problems with administration. Not refunding or notifying a patient of a 720.00 overcharge is completely unacceptable. Poor business practice and lack of oversight. On the other hand, doctors take their time and answer all your questions. Office is clean and medical care was very good. Appointment was timely and efficient. Therefore, if you use them...be very aware of the billing and what you are being charged. read more

I would like to recommend Dr. Slater and Michelle who provided me excellent service. Prompt and Professional with a very caring and problem solving. . Listen to your concerns and address them with directions that you can understand. I had lump in my neck which I had shown to multiple doctors but no one was able to diagnose it. Finally Dr. Slater look at my history being complicated patiently figured the the solution. I am super happy with his knowledge and service. No waiting at his office at all. He is right on time and takes care of you right there. read more

Erica is by far the absolute rudest and most unhelpful customer service employee I have ever encountered. She will seemingly go out of her way to do as little work as possible, leaving you the customer/patient at a loss. This office could have the best doctor in the world and I would avoid making an appointment at all costs just to never have to speak with someone so incredibly hard to deal with ever again. I have good things to talk about this place. Receptionists are very friendly and pleasant, always trying to help me scheduling an appointment - specially the last minute ones. Nurses are careful, precautious and caring. For 2 times they recognized I was having a shock before I even realize I was having one. And they rescued me right away. They always take good care of me and my family, doing beyond my expectations. I also like my doctor. He goes into detail and is never in a hurry to finish a visit. Terrible! I walked in with my child as a new patient. The women at the desk seemed to be having a disagreement with one of the doctors. Neither of them acknowledged us for over what seemed 5 minutes. When we were finally helped they were rude, made us feel like we were a nuisance. When we got to a room, the place is run down, paint peeling off the walls. Finally saw the doctor, to do nothing, looked at the computer the entire time. He was more concerned with who referred us than my sons actual symptoms. I was then told to go off some medicine so he could run tests. It seems when I made the appointment as a new patient I should have been told this. Complete waste of time! I love the people who administer the shots, but I've never had an appointment with a P.A. or doctor here that didn't take an excessive amount of time, i.e., I wasn't seen until an hour or so after my appointment time. I'm sitting in an exam room now for an appointment they said I had to have. My appointment was at 9:30, it's 10:23 now and there's no one in sight. If this was the only time, I'd understand, but it's EVERY time. read more

My family left this practice, because although the doctor was good, we always wait 1 hour or more. There is no point in being early or on time. They need a better system of scheduling when seeing the doctor. Last time I waited over 2 hours before I got seen. They have also incorrectly scheduled the date I was supposed to be there.
