Ordered about $800 in stuff. They claimed it was delivered which it wasn't. They only put $100 insurance on it and refunded that and expected all to be well. I had to do a charge back on my credit card to get the money back. In the time it took to do so, they put together another box (that I didn't ask for, mainly Justin Beiber and multiple copies of things I didn't want, ask or pay for). When this box of unrequested items arrived, they refused to take it back and then sued me for the amount PLUS THEIR LAWYER FEES. Unbelievably slow service. I know that they market well and seem to have a good selection but it's a trap. You're always better off ordering from someone else. I had a bad experience with them on my first order and gave them a second shot. It went just as porrly as the second time. They will take your money and refuse to respond to refund requests. 100% THE WORST Vinyl Record shopping experience I've ever had. Purchased a Brand New Silverchair Frogstomp album. Purchased in February. Played for the first time a week or so later, discovered the record was extremely warped. Not their fault, happens. Messaged their customer service in late February, asking what they want me to do, they gave me some tips to try to flatten the disc, which as a reasonable guy I was willing to try. This is when my experience with Danny Keys begins. About 10 days later, with no luck, message Danny again, he sends me a label and ask me to return and they will send a replacement. I send the record back, receive confirmation it was delivered 5 days later, then hear nothing from Dan or SRC for two weeks. Finally hear back... with a vague email from Dan, "we will send your replacement when it is available." At this point it's been a month since they were notified of the issue. I've been more than a patient and reasonable customer to this point. I immediately send an email, "what does we will send it when it's available mean"? A few days later Danny responds, when you mentioned the issue, we had a replacement in stock, by the time we were notified of your return is was out of stock. WTF. This is when I start to get fed up with the nonsense. Shocked I respond basically asking how that happened and I get a smug (IDGAF) response again from Danny. At this point I'm about to lose it, I go on their website three days ago and they have the album in stock (different color vinyl) so l send another message to my buddy Danny and ask, why don't you just send me one of these, they are in stock? Which shocker, a few days later (which is today) I get an email from Danny. "This album is no longer in stock... here's your refund" This SAGA began on February 27... 40 days... almost 6 weeks... all with the same individual from the company. With me trying to be a very reasonable person and offering to try to "fix" a brand new record I purchased for about $45. When my conversation started on 2/27 until today, 40 days later, this album (in one variation or another) showed in-stock on their website. Not one time in those 40 days, and 20+ email exchanges did you think it was appropriate to take care of your customer. I only told you five different times, I am NOT interested in a refund... I want the record. Not one time in those messages did you put your thinking cap on me say, hey I should have a copy held for him. I had already paid for the thing. In addition to this record I bought three others in this same order. I placed a second order days after the first for another 5 albums. I will NEVER do business with you clowns again. And I will 100% spread the word amongst mint vinyl collecting friends to stay away from SRC Vinyl. Not only is it BY FAR THE WORST vinyl purchasing experience I've ever had....... it may be the worst and downright least customer friendly business I have ever dealt with in any business (including Comcast) DANNY, you in particular, you should not be in a customer facing position and should definitely not be involved with problem resolution. read more

This company is completely unprofessional and will rip you off. I placed an order online for a back ordered item. They notified me I would be charged as the product would be shipping out soon. After the charge I received no shipping confirmation so I asked about that. No response. I sent an email asking to cancel the order and they said since I wasn't charged there would be no refund. I sent them a picture of my bank statement with the charge from their company and they decided it was appropriate to begin ignoring me. They have not replied to my multiple emails over the last week. This is a great new vinyl store! Great selection and even some hard to find titles. The owners seem to really know what they want to bring to the beginner and experienced collector. As for the staff, ask for Frank! He was very friendly and helpful. We had a great chat. It was a breath of fresh air to speak with someone who had been in the biz for a long time and didn't have the typical record store clerk(I'm better than you) mentality. This store is relatively new to the area. Frank also told me that a used vinyl section is coming soon so, keep an eye out. Overall, great place, nice environment. This website, as far as I can tell, is a complete scam. I ordered a vinyl record a month ago that even now is still in 'processing' status despite their claims that orders process in 1-2 business days. I opened a ticket to ask why it was still in processing and hadn't shipped yet, and waited almost 2 weeks for a response. Then they had the gall to tell me they didn't have the item and stock, and weren't even sure IF they would get more in stock. Not when, but if. How on earth do you advertise and sell items that you don't even possess? I requested to cancel the order, but from what I've read that's going to take a stupidly long time. They were to be shipped out May 5, 2017 according to the manufacturer, I e-mailed them 8 times from 5/10/17 to 6/5/17 each time I got a different excuse. I finally told them I was going to ask my bank to do a chargeback & report them to the BBB. After that, my bank issued me a refund 13 days after my last e-mail to srvc vinyl, Because this process took so long the limited ed. set has sold out/ or vendors want to charge twice as much now for an obsolete item. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! I ordered 8 records online thru their store the first time around and only received THREE OF THEM 3 MONTHS LATER! I couldn't get a hold of anyone from the online store for over a month after emailing more than a dozen times. We finally get a hold of someone there and they sent 3 of the 8 ordered. At this point i wanted to a complete refund and would send back the records. They finally refunded my money for the other 5 records i never got which ended up being more than 60 days later. When they said refund they meant store credit of course though which was kind of lame. I then ordered 4 records that were in stock at the time since I had store credit. I have yet to receive anything from them for now 2 months not even an email stating some of the records are now on back order. Their policy (Which is a nightmare) is if a record is back ordered or sold out, they will hold your WHOLE ORDER until that one comes back in stock. Without customer service to help sort thru this or even a phone number to call (ALSO A HUGE RED FLAG) while your waiting on your order, other records will go out of stock. Its an endless cycle of playing the waiting game with them without any light at the end of the tunnel. If you ordered a record, it should ship with or without the other ones being available PERIOD! I cant believe they are still in business. WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM EVER AGAIN after I get my full refund. If you are brave enough to try them out go thru paypal and only order 1 record at a time since their policy is pointless. Multiple e-mails were sent and didn't receive a response. Eventually someone responded and asked if I wanted in store credit, I said no please give me my refund. No response. Multiple emails after, no response. Fortunately I ordered through Paypal so to get my money back I had to open a dispute. No apology was issued. I have ordered a handful of vinyl from SRC, and every single time it is the biggest pain in the ass to get my stuff. I have ordered in stock and pre orders and somehow I am always playing the waiting game. The customer service is almost nonexistent, and far outweighs the great selection that they carry. It kills me to write this because it is not an issue of price or selection, when i get exceedingly shitty customer service (or lack thereof) it doesn't make me feel good about giving my hard earned money away. I placed an order for an in stock vinyl well over two weeks ago, and STILL have not received, got an email that the shipping was processed or anything. I have ordered vinyl from many different places, and SRC is the absolute worst to buy vinyl from. Don't bother doing a pre order, because you won't get it in a timely manner.. i have pre ordered stuff and waited and waited and then waited some more, and in those cases i could have just purchased in store somewhere else because I still had not received my merchandise by the time the album was released. These 5 star reviews must be for the physical store, because I had my first and last experience with them. I ordered a record three and a half months ago and the release date kept getting pushed back, but I received no notifications. When I inquired the first time, they merely said that if the release gets pushed back, there's nothing they can do. Nothing?! Really?! You offer a credit, a refund, something for free. You make it right, which they made no attempt to do. The item in question finally was in stock (sort of) on October 11th but a portion of the shipment was still backordered so I had to ask again where it was and if I'm ever getting it.
