Moving to a larger location on Port Credit's East side (about 1 km east of Hurontario), about 4 years has allowed for Ric's to expand their offerings and inventory to a point where you feel like you've traveled back in time to the 60's/70's to go record shopping. All the classics are there... like all of them! If you're a true audiophile, this is the place to be. I spend almost an hour doing a 'quick' skim of the categories that interested me most. Ric's has got a lot of vintage vinyl going from $6 up to $35-$40, there's something from every genre, category and generation on his shelves. That said, if you're looking for something old... brand new, he's got an expansive collection of re-releases and pressings that he keeps on regular order. These can range in price from $25 to over $100 depending on the album. For those still loving the smooth skip skip skip sound of CD's, Ric's has a good helping of these as well. I didn't choose to browse because if I want digital music, I'll download it from itunes, plain and simple. But if you're still a fan of the old compact disc, I'd swing by here and check them out! Today I picked up a Best of the Beatles 1967-1970, Kick by INXS and Blue Train by John Coltrane! I can't wait to get them home to listen!

If I could select zero I would so 1 star it is. Service in some ways is good in other ways it's…read morenot, meaning the staff I'm not a fan of the owner I've met him once wasn't really impressed with him at all, interacted wit him at his Mississauga store once during a sale asked for $2 off a record was just rude about it, so that means it was a no obviously they can turn away and turn down customers. More importantly how he or they run their business. So Sunday April the 13th record store weekend, real day is April 12th for this store it's only the 1 day all of the other stores I visited it's the weekend for many good valid reason as as well too. Any how I was in line from 10:30 literally in front of the door for 10:45 they open at 11:30, ten minutes before opening while I was standing in line with some one else a female is on the phone starts pulling taking down a certain amount of record store days and all the good ones as well like Grateful Dead, Duran Duran picture disc while doing this you can tell who ever she was talking too I'm thinking the owner or one of the owners any how she knew exactly which records were to go even the ones on the front widow display taking off the shelf any were from 1 to 15 copies of what ever was left of certain titles Artist, during this process she outs a sign up ten minutes before opening she filling ore order on line record store day records while doing this some one said your taking all the good she said there's lots of stuff left laughs and chuckles no what she said wasn't correct she took down all the good stuff. Me being in line seeing this witnessing this and taking all the good titles and I can se some of the titles quite a lot actually some I was either going to buy or at the very least look at and consider buying well I couldn't do since they took she took all the good stuff. That was rude, dishonest makes the store franchise and the owner or owners look like douche bags. Instead of leaving at least 1 copy of all the good stuff for me or others in line or even some one coming in through the day to have a chance on Sunday to buy nope they don't care about real customer service, loyalty, or the community in the area, or the real physical customer coming in to have fun for record store day weekend and have some luck finding some thing cool of sorts or being an,e to buy. While seeing this got me so up set that I'll never buy another record from these people again or any of the stores they have, I'll spread the word around as well too how they make them selves lol like liars, dishonest disgraceful people, I'll tell people I know, people I see at reco4d stores and social media as well too. You don't do that to your customers physically ones at that, or people standing in line before you open up to just simply say tough luck your not important, doesn't matter how long you stand in line, or what you see in the window store or in the shelf cause before you have a chance to see it , look at it, or buy it it's already sold, it's being taken off the shelf right in front of your eyes, waist your time when you could've, or would've went to another record store entirely and waist your time energy be told silently you don't count, you don't matter, you can't see or buy what you see cause it may not be available,e once you go into the store and on top of that she didn't even open up at 11:30 it was 11:43 when I left she still was pulling record store day albums off the walls, bins she filled 2 crates to 3 crates of record store albums. This is a dishonest store, franchise, owners, people should support there local stores but not franchise's like this record store company there's other records around to support or even in the gta that aren't shady dishonest like this store is. They refined my record store day experience this was my real 1st time for record store day and weekend she and the owner ruined it for me. in fact it's even ruined collecting for me overall and I want will not trust another record store again and espcialy high notes coffee and vinyl and on top of that the Mississauga location does. It sell coffee or any type of drink beverage at all they bought the name off a man and kept the name going but yet you can't buy any type of drink at that store so that in its own right is already dishonest. to do what that female worker and owner does is unacceptable period and more so when people are standing in line seeing all these records they want, want to buy, look at ect to just simply pull it all down right in front of your eyes tell you you can't buy any of this your business isn't important to us. People, do not trust this record store company or staff or ownership they are dishonest and very shadday. I ope at least 1 person sees this doesn't buy from this store and pass this review and tell people what they are like cause this could happen to you right in front of your eyes thinking you can buy it before yo( go in all of a sudden you cant. .

Famous PEOPLE Players - Where show took place

I celebrated my birthday at Famous PEOPLE Players Theatre with my mom and teenage son, and…read morehonestly, it was one of the most memorable nights we've had in a long time as a family. I had seen the show many years ago as a teen on a school trip, before they had their own venue. Like a good wine--or anything special that ages with care and purpose--it has only gotten better with time. The cross-city rush hour drive was absolutely worth it once we arrived. The venue, located in a strip mall/industrial park, had plenty of free parking. We stepped into a one-story, open, airy, and accessible building that immediately felt welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of joy that set the tone for the evening. We were escorted to our table in a dining area that felt both spacious and intimate. Everything was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully arranged. The tables were dressed with cloth napkins, tablecloths, and seat covers, giving it a relaxed yet elegant feel. I especially loved the photos of celebrities who've been involved with the company, tastefully displayed around the room. The service throughout the night was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They struck the perfect balance, friendly and warm without being overbearing. We truly felt like more than just guests. We felt part of something meaningful. The evening unfolded in three acts. Act 1: Dinner. The meal far exceeded our expectations. Each course--from the appetizer to the main--was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated. I'm not usually a fan of salad, but I really enjoyed the one served. Even my son, who's not easily impressed when it comes to food, not only cleaned his plate, he raved about the meal. Act 2: The Show. Before the performance, the cast encouraged us to sing and dance in our seats, and we did not hold back. Twist and Shout was a high-energy, creative, feel-good experience. The puppetry, lighting, and choreography were brilliantly done, and you could feel the joy radiating from the stage. Watching my son fully engaged made it all the more special. Act 3: Coffee and Dessert. The desserts were decadent--two types of chocolate delights. My son and I went halvesies on both, a perfect sweet ending to the evening. What really sets this place apart is its purpose. You're not just seeing a show; you're supporting something meaningful--an inclusive and empowering space that celebrates ability in a truly unique and beautiful way. Equity, inclusion, and diversity are not just buzzwords here. They're lived values, visible both on stage and behind the scenes in a way that feels authentic and inspiring. If you're looking for something uplifting, meaningful, and different from the usual night out, this is it. It's rare to find something that resonates across generations, but this did. It would be a fantastic option for schools looking to offer students a fun and impactful experience, and it would also make a memorable, purpose-driven setting for a corporate event. Whether you're going with family, colleagues, or students, this place is a gem. The experience itself felt like incredible value for the money.
