I wanted to be sure they would install the correct rechargeable battery and only then did she acknowledge my watch was Solar and then confidently said $50. I asked why that wasn't communicated when I had texted and she explained the greater cost was because the replacement battery would last 5-7 years. Oh, so I quickly looked up the Amazon price of the needed battery and it was $13.95. Then she explained that their liability to install a battery in my fine Timex watch demanded an increased price.
